Research before you agree – Warning! Spoke to PAT today, I would suggest getting 5 quotes before picking these guys. They only install high end units! I wanted this units, Sungrow and Goodwe with Jinko panals which are high end and known for quality... you can go for the stuff they recommend which is high end and isn't any different to the above but it will be more money out of your pocket.

5stars because he was the first to suggest that because our home was subject so much shading that it would be of very little value to upgrade our current solar. No financial benefit to them. start the process and make those initial enquiries and they said quite simply "if you are able to, wait, prices are possibly going to go down a little and the state government incentive could be expanded further" They were right on both and saved me quite a few pennies by waiting. Quite a few. I now have the incentive processed and ready to go, a battery solution chosen to suit my setup and a date for installation organised. As always, the excellent technical expertise and advice from TSS cannot be faulted. These guys are professionals and way above the level of some of the others out there. Believe me, I have tried them. Also TSS has outstanding customer service via emails, phone calls etc. Based on my experience I recommend their ability, integrity, honesty and great product knowledge and customer service. These are always remembered long after price is forgotten. In my opinion they are in this business for the long long haul and I trust them completely.

favor, were the reports by previous customers who all spoke of a high standard of care on the job, cleaned up well after the job and installed very neat and well thought out systems.

Total came to my notice through their use of LG panels. After I read a review on panel quality, 20 year drop off efficiency and production capacity per square meter of the monocrystalline panels, I decided to contact them for further information. Daniel in sales, was very forthcoming with information and had satisfactory answers for all my technical questions. This was a good start, but I was also very concerned at the quality of the system components. After going through the collapse of the supplier for my own home system (some two years after installation) Daniel at Total Solar told me that the system warranty for their components is carried by the component manufacturers eg, LG Australia and Fronius for the inverter.

Further into the technical conversation, Daniel mentioned that they also sold and installed LG split air conditioning systems. As we were about to purchase a system and LG systems were well recommended for reliability and efficiency, we also opted to include the split system in the package.

Rees, the owner of the business came out on the morning of installation with a team of installers. The team went about their work in a very precise and tradesman like manner. They cleaned up as they went and after some seven hours a very neat solar panel and split system installation was complete and handed over.

There is not much more to say except it was a very enlightening and pleasurable experience. The price was more expensive than others (by about 10%) but we received top quality components the others could not supply. Total's team members made panel to inverter efficiency as high as practically possible through the use of six mm square wiring and only using genuine connectors on all cable joins. After market connectors have been known to corrode and the created resistance has caused small wiring fires.

I will continue to report on system efficiency and any problems as time progresses
