Toyo Open Country U/T

Good Highway Tyre – Work vehicle 2.9t loaded standard height. 90% on road, ok on gravel, light mud on firm ground ok, only had to get yanked out by digger once in really wet boggy area not tyres fault though. Very smooth and quiet, balanced up very well.Very good handling once they'd done 5000km. excellent wet weather tyre, even when down to 3mm or so still hung on wet roads. Only got 50000km from them maybe 45000km but hey diesels need to be worked hard. Not one puncture, rotated twice(front to back) Will get another set on as they handled the weight and hard cornering in hills.

New model Open Country U/T super-seeding the H/T – I went to buy a set of 5 Toyo Open Country H/T tyres and found they have been super seeded by the new Open Country U/T. Based on the good reviews of the H/T and a few other happy 4x4 owners, I made a purchase of 5 new U/T tyres and hopefully they are as good as the H/T. All I can say at the moment is they look good, are quiet when driving, they grip the road very well in the dry but yet to try in the wet, good ride comfort and seem to roll freely for hopefully a good fuel consumption. I have given only 4 stars till I have tried them in all conditions and driven at least 5000 Ks, then I will revisit my review, add a few more comments and new rating.
