Toyo Tires

AT3's fitted to my 2023 Prado. Good on road, less noise than most off road tires. Off road, handle most situations well. In really messy mud they fail, but in the end they are not a mud tire. I would recommend them as a reliable on and off road tire that is capable in most situations. If you plan to go through deep mud I would recommend a mud tire.
Fitted to Brand New 2021 Mazda CX-30 – Our Brand new Mazda CX-30 ran over some glass on the freeway puncturing the side wall on Sat 29/1/22. Thats fine these things happen. What's not acceptable is Toyo did not have any replacement (Proxes R56 215/55 R18 95H) tyres in stock in Australia. I rang Toyo Sydney Head Office and they confirmed this with no ETA on when they might be getting stock. The lady was kind enough to suggest I fit 2 Toyo C100's at $245.00 each ($490.00). Great - different load ratings, different handling characteristics on a brand new car not to mention the cost - no thanks.
By this time totally disillusioned with Toyo so next stop Bridgestone. I asked for a quote for 4 x Bridgestone Turanza T005A , the other tyre CX-30's are supplied with in Australia; and yes come in tomorrow Sir to have them fitted ($1228.00). At least I can get a replacement tyres if I need be.
In summary it is an absolute disgrace that a Manufacturer like Mazda fit OEM tyres to it's vehicles that cannot be purchased in the country of sale.
Both Mazda and Toyo need to get with the program!
