Pirellis but wrong size. Tyrepower recommended Pirelli Scorpion Verde All-Season at $275 fitted. Glitch 3. I hesitated and did a LOT of online research. Plan B: Eventually accepted that offer; tyres are now fitted and balanced. ($550 for the two) As a bonus, got Tyrepower to do minor work on my trailer; new tyre; new wheel bearings, brake adjustments. Trailer now pulls more easily and brakes better as well. (non-Glitch 4: Online price is now $478, presumably because it’s a discontinued line)

* Non- AutoHero.com.au solution to Plan A would have cost about $1000+, * AutoHero.com.au (& Tuggeranong Tyrepower) Plan A solution would at worst have been $200 cheaper; * Plan B solution – different tyres and a third tyre and trailer repairs & maintenance – still ahead by at least $70 on a car plus additional trailer work.

Unexpectedly I was amazed at how successful this process turned out to be ! – I needed 4 new tyres, Rotor resurfacing & disc pads all round. Super Price and same day service. Including free fitting, balancing & Wheel alignment. (plus a ride to the nearby coffee shop while I waited). The Rotor resurfacing process had a snag as the Machine broke an Arm, so the Company took the rotors to a Machine shop in Town to complete the resurfacing, only to get caught up in a major large Truck turnover accident involving a car and tons of metal spread across 3 lanes, causing 2 hrs delay getting back. No additional charges.. Fantastic! So impressed with the quality of service, Technical Information supplied and a free check & adjust service provided after 2 mths wow! Finally, The Jeep drives smooth & stops straight on its upgraded feet. Sure! I will be back again...

Under Appreciated Website - Honest Review – With the assistance of Tyre Compare i was able to find local tyre shops that i was unaware of that had better prices on the tyres i was looking for due to its shop locator feature which stacks all nearby shops that are competing with one another , to give you a better price. tyre you are after as tyre descriptions are accurate as well as the reviews for the most part and manufacturer deals are usually automatically applied which puts you in a better position as you know exactly what you are paying for.

At the end of the day if you find a cheaper advertised tyre on here , it provides a bargaining chip you can use when calling up your go-to tyre shop as you can ask if they can price-match for you.

I was not paid for this review , i took my own time out of the day to do this quick write up. i would suggest anyone not familiar with Tyre Compare to give it a go and see if it saves you money.

Marketed products different to those asked for – Query was to source price for Cooper tyres, but response did not provide any details about tyres and instead tried to sell me other products and services. I suspect a system error rather than intentional redirected marketing, but still a bad experience from my perspective. Two attempts, no results – Tried them twice requesting tyres, putting in the exact specs and brand required. The first attempt resulted in quotes for servicing, but no tyres. The second attempt resulted in no quotes at all. Wasted effort all round, and not recommended.

Auto Useless – Tried to get a quote for a specific sized tyres and did not get a single quote. I then got an email from auto hero a week later asking for a review of the service. Still trying to work out what service.

I requested quotes for Tyres for my car. I did expect to receive more than one quote to give me something to compare. But I always say something is better than nothing. I was happy with the process, but chose to purchase tyres from another provider.

Buying these tyres was a very easy exercise,a quote was given by the boys at tyreplus at Botany,I rag to find whether they were in stock and how quickly they could be fitted.I reviewed the tyres and went ahead with the purchase.They were very efficient,no waiting.The ride home on the new tyres was very quiet, soft ride ,handled well ,hopefully they will give good mileage with the reputation that Michelin tyres have .Thanks Michael Pinkus Show details

Bad news – I have not received one response to my enquiry with regards to tyres. I have also not received a response to my several prior reviews indicating the fact that no tyre company has forwarded any detail. You are obviously not interested in me.

Compare prices for car repairs could not be simpler – Was excellent in quickly comparing prices from different workshops on some work I wanted to get done on the car. Selected a workshop and work was completed professionally.

Great site helpful to get quotes fast – I uploaded my request for tyre prices through Auto Hero and within a few minutes I received two quotes and i made my purchase from the first caller.

Good, but a bit buggy maybe? – I am just using the free version, but often on my longer trips I will get a lower distraction and speed score. Despite driving the same as usual and I use adaptive cruise control so nor speeding. Also on 1 or 2 long trips it's not recorded properly and I've had to re-start the app. Apart from that it's been good. Keeps me accountable and an honest road user.

No service at all – Followed the process, was advised tyre shops would contact me but none did. Then I get sent an evaluation email: The dissatisfied option went nowhere but the happy one went here. Quelle surprise!
