Pros: Looks good, decent coverage, good speeds, good stability Cons: Any changes you make in the router of mesh inevitably results in you having to rebuild the network from scratch and change network for all of the devices connected, terrible connection for gaming (eg. widely known for not connecting / dropping out in EA games). This is a… Read more

basic, cheap mesh system and that's about what you can expect.

Personally, I wouldn't buy again. I'd opt for a better mesh system.

HelpLine (Chelsey Wu) very much appreciated – Chelsey Wu was able to give me good advice for a technical problem with much patience and a pleasant manner. Initial setup for a new system is straight forward but resetting (after an internet dropout) is far from simple. Show details ·  1

Not what they claim, not worth the money – Always dropping out, Mobile devices very hard to connect to it, useless range & speed. In short don't buy it. Show details

impressed – whilst the product is very good, nobody tells you about the pairing difficulties you may encounter. First, my solar system application, what a nightmare. So many inappropriate comments about my upgrade decision being the problem. Took 2 weeks to finally get the answer to problem and re-pairing completion. Next, ducted airconditioning application,… Read more ·  2

had to be enabled from unit itself in roof by a tech person and still waiting 2 months later as air con app not working or compatible to new mesh systems. home printer, a few minutes to do. TV and apps a bit of a nightmare and then my Wifi name had to change and unless you are tech savy, a nightmare. You forget how many items in the house are WiFi connected so be prepared for a bit of work when you buy a new Router system.

Problem solved – This was what I needed! Successfully connected. Could have had better instructions for set-up in the box. Mona was great to deal with. Very helpful technician who knew what to do and got me connected! Show details ·  1

Tidy system – Happy with the system overall, but more happy with the kind and friendly service of the lovely Aurelia :) She knew exactly what to do, and with a very personable and approachable personality. Everyone should take a leaf from her book Show details ·  1

Wonderful customer service from Aurelia in China – We have a 3 unit home mesh system and could not connect one of the units. I called the TP Link 1300 number and Aurelia, the customer service representative, based in China, spent 40 minutes patiently guiding me through the process to reconnect it. She was wonderful!!! Very polite and courteous. Everything was fixed and we now have the entire home reconnected. Happy ending! Thanks Aurelia :) Show details

Easy Setup, great Performance – Replaced my ip over power with this throughout large house. Getting over 105mb/sec on every location compared to 30 or so on the IP over power. Super easy to setup and manage via phone app Show details

Constant dropouts – Easy to set up, great family profiles, easy app to use. Only issue we have had is that is constantly drops out. We have trouble shooted with the manufacturers with no resolution. Just putting up with multiple drop outs each day. Show details

Very mixed bag – Pros: 1. The units are very well built and plainly styled; they blend into a typical home environment nicely. 2. They're easy to set up, provided you a) have an Android or iOS device, and b) are willing to install a TP-Link app on it. 3. They're very affordable. 4. The quality and stability of the WiFi are great; I've noticed a significant… Read more

reduction in dropouts and glitches during video calls and while Chromecasting.

Cons:

1. You need an Android or iOS device to set them up. Not great if you have a phone like a PinePhone. 2. The nice styling of the devices is completely spoiled by the ugly black power packs and power cables; no matter how nicely styled the units are, the effect is utterly ruined by accessories that stand out from the other side of a room. 3. The Deco app itself is hopelessly feature-poor. In particular, it's not possible to search devices by IP address, making management of a large number of devices extremely awkward. They offer a web interface though which is much more useful.

Works brilliantly and easy setup – We bought a https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/tp-link-ac1200-whole-home-mesh-wi-fi-system-3-pack-deco-e43-pack-tp-link/. It arrived a couple of days later and we have now installed it. The installation was easy. We connected via our updated Telstra smart modem as we didn't want to have to reset our existing TP Link smart globes and switches. The… Read more

two devices (Telstra modem - TP Link Mesh system) are playing very nicely and our whole house and backyard (1,600 sq m) now have a strong, fast wifi signal in every corner. We had struggled to find a solution and was unable to achieve a good result using TP Link extenders.

I was going to buy one of the Telstra mesh products but at the moment Telstra is incredibly difficult to deal with so I went with the TP Link product from Kogan. I am very pleased and my wife et al are delighted to have such a powerful connection.

Kogan also provided fast, seamless service.

Excellent range, easy setup, convenient and reliable – I got it in February and now I couldn't live (well, sort of) without it. All the problems with interference from neighbours' Wi-Fi, slow speed and gaps in coverage are gone. Once set up you can forget about their (2 units in my case, 3 units recommended for a large house) existence. Just enjoy a strong, fast Wi-Fi everywhere in the house without the need to use separate passwords - as would be the case with a Wi-Fi extender. Pure pleasure to use.
