a remote 2-hour session attempting to diagnose the problem (he was successful). He was very thorough and patient. In the end the problem wasn't even with the product. I cannot fault the product, or the service provided. I would recommend this product.
I had to change the old modem (tp-link) - end of liftime warning received – The old modem worked for years. I had and have tp-link products and they work for ME!! I am for years with aussiebrodaband. With one of the technicians I was able to set up the new modem while the old connections was still running. We have bad wireless signal, mobile phone signal.. -no problems. Phone works fine, no speed issues. And if I have a question I know I get support from aussiebroadband in no time --in ENGLISH!! 3 years warranty. I put an extender in - signal up to 200 m from the house. I looked at a few negative reviews> it stands out to me that very few people know what they are doing -- If you have weak signal you cannot get a good signal. We have fibre to the kerb -would I try wireless ---I would be creaming too -- bad signal.
Good modem router, great customer support! – The modem does its job as expected. But what got me to write a review today was the customer service. Amazing support from Mona Shan – I was having a lot of issues with my internet not being connect. I contacted my internet provider and they weren't able to solve it so they gave me the number for TP-Link and I was greeted by Mona Shan. She was incredible in solving the error and did so within a very timely manner. All praise to her and her support!
Modem router is decent for the price – The modem is very easy to set up following the steps provided by TP-Link. I had just one more step for internet connection but missed it by a button, so I called TP-Link support. I only waited 5 mins for someone to pickup and Rosine Liu's assistance was very helpful and clear, she helped me change the settings in just few mins. Land Line Problem – The modem works as any other connecting to the internet. However this modem has annoying problem when an incoming land line call is received it has a single ring, then a long pause, then another single ring, then another long pause, etc. It's easy to miss if you are not listening carefully. VR2100v just purchased – Experienced some difficulties in setting up modem and had to call customer support for assistance. After some time we got it working
Only 1 day use but working well – Day 1. Easy to set up. Nice GUI. Connected at the full speed of my ISP data rate plan. Using Ethernet for PC & lots of wireless devices connected with no problems. Co changing their broadband signal distribution parameters. Early days, but if the hardware does not fail, i think the device was a good purchase.
More Stress than it's worth – After an hour on the phone to support telling me that Telstra need to provide the Registra Address and being on the phone to Telstra at the same time saying that they do not know what this means the woman from TP Link told me to take it back to the store.
