No WIFI Signal showing on home devices for newly installed TP-Link Archer MR200 Modem – A major dilemma which resulted in several hours of frustration and not knowing what to do to resolve issue. I hate it. Constant connectivity issues – This router disconnects regularly, although it has 100% reception. Sometimes it's very difficult to return it to work. Iv'e tried almost every available provider and I went though 3-4 different sim cards. This product is not good. Show details

Re-connection nightmares – If you get knocked off the net, it is impossible to reconnect with this modem. Using the password - useless Using the on / off switch on modem - useless Using the reset button on the router - useless. Every time we have to call the I S P and have a manual reconnect - and we are on underground cable. Frustrating to use, drops out easily - better ones out there - not recommended at all.  Show details

router with a sim card slot included, so I originally purchased the TP-LINK TL-MR6400 and was told by a CPL sales person it should work fine with my TP-Link Smart WiFi LED Bulb's & TP-Link HS100 Wireless Smart Plug's. The TL-MR6400 was losing connection to all the smart devices, and after calling and talking to TP-Link and going through their tech support, I was told the router was faulty and to return it for a replacement.

I decided to pay a bit extra and exchanged it for the TP-Link Archer MR200 AC750 so I could have the 5GHz option at a later date if needed. It was exactly the same as the cheaper model. I can spit further than the WiFi signal range of this router. Smart devices were going offline 2-3 times a day, even the one less than 90cm away from the router itself.

Remembering, these smart devices are made by the same manufacturer, so after doing some research online I read this has been an issue as far back as late 2015? Looks like TP-Link wants top dollar for cheaply made buggy tech and as a reward their customer service, tech support and customer satisfaction is non-existent for years to come!

I only have myself to blame for buying this rubbish without doing better research before hand. The next step is selling this TP-Link garbage off at a loss and find another manufacturer that actually knows what their doing!

Decent price for a modem/router 4g capability with AC – Positive: It is very easy to use. It is the cheapest compared to the specs of all others in the market. It has 3 years warranty. Negative: Does get overheat. AC has dropped out a few times, need to put to medium power has helped. Quite expensive for a modem. Wished it has USB input for printer server.  Show details
