Trek 7.9 FX
1 review
beyond expectations – I got this bike in April 2008, between having both knees replaced. i am 6' and weigh in 220-260. I have ridden this bike as much as 72 miles per day, back to back. I have 16000 miles on the bike and of course had chain, and both clusters replaced as needed .The only change was the seat, went gel. If you can find one, I highly recommend this bike. I retired this year at age 68 and ride everyday weather permits.
Update 05th August 2016:
I passed 20,000 miles in July. I have replace clusters, tires, and chains. The frame is still in excellent shape, showing no wear. Ended July with 2541 miles,n.e. Oh in a drought, so riding most days. I think this turned out to be a good buy. I believe this cycle is a good bang for the buck. The new cycles are not a 30 speed, as mine is. I still think you can't go wrong with this cycle.
