Works very well – I use half the recommended amount of powder and except for heavy grease stains my clothes come out perfectly clean. There is no smell as far as I have noticed which is good, because why would I want any residue left on my clothes? Highly recommended! Show details
Same same, but cheaper – It's cheaper than the equivalent more expensive brand from other supermarkets.. ive tried many brands, best of the best, cheapest of the cheap, all the inbetweens, hot water, cold water, powder, liquids and none of them clean grease or oil. Grease and oil stains always remain. At least this is as good as the most expensive equivalent ,but with a cheaper price tag. Show details
Bleaching blacks – Was impressed with its cleaning power until all my blacks started turning that orange colour. wrecked some very nice clothes. Used the choice recommendation, who pays for the new clothes now. Show details
Suds didn’t dissolve properly in the powder tray of the machine – Residue left in the tray of machine. Even if half suggested amount put in still not dissolved. I am concerned about possible damage to washing machine. Won’t use this brand again . Show details
Good powder, scent a bit overpowering! – The powder works well in the wash. It dissolves well and does a decent cleaning job. I think the scent is very overpowering. I have tried many different scents, all a bit too strong. The price is OK but not the cheapest.
Can't stomach the post wash smell of the clothes – I am so disappointed with the Trimat Powder Concentrate but.....the cost of the product and the Initial washing of all variety of clothes was very impressive on both whites and colours. However, the post wash smell of the clothes placed back into wardrobes etc ended up smelling putrid like vomit! We checked all the clothes cupboards including… Read more
different those in different bedrooms for something else that could have caused this repulsive smell, but there was nothing else to find. I can only deduct that smell left on the clothes was as a consequence of the Trimat Powder. Since changing to a different soap powder all the clothes washed no longer retain that repugnant smell. A shame really, as the product demonstrated so much potential.
Fantastic Stain removal and fresh clothes – I find Trimat is fantastic for stain removal. I have a child and all her clothes come out fresh and clean. If there are stubborn stains I pair this with a stain removal spray, a dash of the Aldi Eucalyptus Oil for better stain removal and hygiene and I get fantastic results. I used to pre-soak all her clothes but find I can just wash on a general wash cycle (front loader) on cold wash.
Good but not perfect – It does the job ok but if you want them smelling as nice as one of the more expensive products then I give this Trimate a FAIL. You certainly are not over whelmed by a fresh aromatic smell, but smelling clean just the same. You can always add a little Vinegar to your wash to help with a fresher smell. All up; For the sake of saving some $5.00… Read more
to $6.00 I am happy enough with this product. But because you are adding more powder on each wash, it be a good idea to clean your washing machine by doing a run with Vinegar every now and then
Good as other pricey brands – Use half the recommended usage of Trimat advanced, use small scoop from Almat for measure, washing are clean . Found washing overpowering using the big scoop of Trimat and use less is better for the machine anyway.
Best one on the market! – Aldi canes all the other brands and supermarkets. I'm a fussy b****r and only get the best products I can find, regardless of cost. Trimat is just great. Go Aldi!!!
Aldi Trimat front loader soap concentrate – Used this product for a number of years, very happy with the results. If you get too many suds, it's because you are using too much powder (it is a concentrate).
Disaster – Ruined my Bosh dishwasher. wrote to ALDI...no response whatsoever. replacement cost of dishwasher would have purchased lots of better quality more expensive brands!
Caused major flood damage and damaged my new front loader – Trimat laundry liquid caused so many suds that it damaged my new front loader and caused my machine to leak resulting in some very expensive flood damage including replacing my laundry wall and damage to my kitchen on the other side of the wall, not to mention electrical costs and machine costs. I used less than the recommended amount in my wash.… Read more
This occurred once before using this liquid but i was on the spot and able to mop up mess before it caused any damage. I was not sure if the detergent caused the problem in the first instance or it may have been another reason. I am very sad to say that upon using this product again some months later the same thing has happened but the consequences are far greater. I would argue this product should be taken off the shelves immediately as it is not suitable for front loaders as the packaging states. nothing not suitable for front loaders, produces excessive suds that damage your machine and makes it leak resulting in flood damage

Trimat Sensitive, Powder Concentrate – I too reacted the fragrance in this supposedly sensitive product. This liquid is far from low allergy. My skin and scalp itched and burned and I developed a rash after using Trimat Sensitive, Powder Concentrate. Not happy Aldi I too reacted the fragrance in this supposedly sensitive product. itched and burned and I developed a rash after using Trimat Sensitive, Powder Concentrate. Not happy Aldi
Highly perfumed and is very far from a from low allergy. alternative
Damage to front loading washing machine – I have been using Trimat front loading advanced concentrated laundry powder as per instructions and have been advised by a registered service provider that the amount recommended has caused over production of suds resulting in shorting out off the circuit board. This machine is four years old and has to be replaced at a cost of $600. It overproduces suds which will cause damage to front loading machines..
trimat sensitive liquid concentrate – the perfume and smell that filled the house after first trying the liquid was far from sensitive. My eyes watered, my skin itched and I havent even put the items on yet. my partner who has no allergies also commented on the strong smell. this liquid is far from low allergy high chemical smell and over perfumed to the point of making eyes water
Love this stuff! – I'm normally a liquid soap lady and tried this on a whim. It works wonderfully in my old toploading washer! It gets the gunk out of my husband's work shirts and pants, and also my shirts. It's pretty cheap and I've found for storage the box isn't the best. I found an old tupperware 2L square jug (the fit in fridge door kind) fits the entire box… Read more · 1
perfectly. I keep the little scoop to the side and simply flip the lid open to dispense. Couldn't be easier! cheap, pleasant surprise box doesn't reseal, a bit messy to open
Excellent – This is a great product that does just as goos a job as the more expensive brands. Box is large too. price and has a sensitive range Only available at Aldi
Good – The first time I tried it I was very impressed, it worked very well compared to the Radiant laundry powder I usually use. The price is excellent, and it lasts for ages. Has a nice fragrance and cleans clothes very well. I have now switched laundry powders and I am still very happy. :) The price is very good, nice fragrance, large box which will… Read more
last ages, works very well (less than recommended amount can be used). So far I haven't had any problems with this brand, so I dont think I can find any cons, so far.
Excellent – Another excellent, does the job well, vlaue for money product from Aldi. They really seem to know how to source good products and stick to tried and true formulas. A very good laundry powder for every day washing. I use it both for the main wash and to presoak stains and find in general clotehs come out very clean without residue. I only use half… Read more
a scoop for a very full load and still get good results. A very good value low priced powder that is reliable and consistent in quality. The packaging would be better if it were resealable. I do not like rip open boxes as I generally end up spilling some.
Terrible – Switched from spree -cheap- to this -dirt cheap. Switching back to spree. I am not kidding, it has shrunk my clothes. cheap, large box Has shrunk all my clothes.
Detergent does not shrink clothes!
Great product – I have used this washing powder from Aldi several times and I have never been disappointed. It really does do the job it says it will and the best thing that I love is that the product is so much cheaper than other washing powders at other supermarkets. I also have found that you do not need to use a lot of the powder to get a good clean and it… Read more
is also good to use when socking more stained items.
Definitely worth giving a try as it really is a great product that is affordable and is always readily available at the Aldi stores. Inexpensive.

Good – Very economical, the sensitive version is low foaming in front loaders, good washing result. One box lasts me for months. Is much cheaper than other name brands, even more so in a front loader where you can use very little (I use about half the recommended dose for a front loader). Seems to be quite effective in removing stains. The sensitive… Read more
version has a very low perfume, but I also like the perfume in the Advanced variety (smells a bit like the old Radiant powder used to) The sensitive version is very good for front loaders, but I found the Advanced version foams more. You need to reduce the dosage by about one third to prevent foaming. Haven't tried the Matic version yet.
Good – I tried the Trimat Sensitive powder powder after running out of Planet Ark Aware Sensitive. I have found it to be a great product. It washes the clothes effectively without causing any skin irritation to my two years olds skin. The only thing is it doesnt have any scent, so for smelly socks I need to add a nice smelling sensitive fabric… Read more
softener. Being from Aldi, the price is excellent and it lasts for a long time so it is great value. Well worth a try! Washes well, great price and value The sensitive version has no scent (for obvious reasons!).
Excellent – I have tried many different laundry detergents and liquids and this one is easily one of the best I have used. You get plenty of bang for your buck and it comes in a 1.5kg box which I prefer over those other little fiddly boxes that run out far too quickly. I have sensitive skin, and so far, (3 weeks in) I have had no reaction or allergies to this… Read more
product. I intend to keep using it, and will not be changing anytime soon. Removes stains. Easily dissolves. Good price. "Sensitive" brand has little or no perfume. Nothing so far.
Excellent – This is a great budget product that really does leave clothes clean after use. I have never had any problems using this brand from Aldi and have found it to be fantastic for the price. This washing powder is very concentrated so you do not need to use much each wash. It is very cheap compared to other washing powders and I have found it is very… Read more
good at stain removal, leaving clothes smelling nice and feeling clean. It is in a good sized box and really is a great budget alternative. There are none, this does a great job for its price.
Good – Is very hard to fault the cleaning power of this product. If Aldi reduced the perfume load in this product, I would buy it more regularly. I can normally get away with 2/3 dosage in most loads. Brilliant cleaning power. Good price. Strong perfume in non-sensitive version. Rinsing can be problematic on full loads
