Trojan Geared Telescopic Bypass Lopper
Verified4 reviews
The Gold blade bends around what ever you are cutting what a waste of money
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse Retail Stores for $44.95.
Not fit for purpose – The worst lopper I have used. The edge of the blade bent over, the geared teeth disengaged and over lapped each other when cutting a pencil thick branch. Not fit for use, bad R&D
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $11.

Rubbish – Blade chipped and wore out in no time. Won't cut any more.
Purchased at Bunnings Warehouse.

Not worth the money – There is a large range of loppers available so I thought I'd purchase a heaver duty set that would withstand the workload and last. The extra reach and leverage offered by the extending handles attracted me to this product. The first couple of cuts were fine then I noticed it wasn't cutting so well, strange I thought given the tool was near new. The jaws just spread, the "Titanium" moved sideways pinching the branch and jamming itself when you tried to cut. The extra extension of the handles were handy only for getting the tool unlocked off the branch. The cutting angle of the blade is poor causing it to wedge itself in the branch. For some reason the angle of the blade pushes the branch to the tip causing it to cut at the tip of the blade instead of the back of the blade where the leverage and gearing provides maximum power. There is adjustment to tighten the blade, but this didn't seem to fix the problem, just a poorly designed tool not worth your money. I realized just how poor the Trojan tool was when at my fathers I used his set of cyclone ratchet bypass loppers superior performance and no frustration. Spend the money and buy a real tool, I'll be throwing my trojan tool in the back of the shed and buying a new set.
