I engaged [Name Removed] to build a new fence, paid the deposit and he never showed. I was the one making contact mostly via txt as he never answered his phone, he would say a start date, not arrive, say some excuse and this repeated about 6 times of a month past the original start date. I ask for a refund which I've never received. I lost $4200 to this rip off P®ICK
Same experience as David's review below... D@n from Tropical Landscaping and Design, but it's been over 2 years since January 2024. He completed most of the work quoted although only after 1 year of chasing him, but as soon as I paid the balance for fence materials (which I refused to pay more than half up front after the first fence job I paid in full up front was delayed) D@n told me he would come back on Monday... he never did. He then has not come back to finish all of the second job, only turned up a couple of times to have a look.
I paid his labour fees every Friday as soon as he asked for it, so he could pay his team.
The first job was a front fence and has never been stable, it is now almost falling over, and he has not come back to fix the poor work he kept saying he would, so now I'm paying someone else to have to rectify it.
The final part of the second job not finished is worth over $2500 which doesn't look like will ever happen as he won't refund or return to do it.
He occasionally text messages back or answers your calls and tells you he will be there, but never turns up when he says he will.
Don't use D@n's business unless you want the added stress to your life.
Warning ! Don’t have anything to do with this company paid them 3 grand deposit for a new gate installation 5 months ago and the job has still not been started ! Kept promising next week then next week then I get a Message saying can’t do the job! And said my deposit would be reimbursed! But a month later still on reimbursement! and won’t return messages emails or phone calls ! I have since found out I’m not the only one they have let down with works left not completed ! Highly Unrecommended

Highly recommend Dan he came out to do a quote. Emailed the quote with in a day of our contact and then was able to book us in with in 2 days and did a fantastic job replacing our brush fence that our dog destroyed whilst we were away. He takes all rubbish away and completed the work as promised. Looking forward to booking him in for more work in the future. Great local company very happy with the result.
