Recommended quiet on setting 1 and turbo setting is useful – Quiet and you can tell it is filtering the air. Just don't forget to remove the packaging plastic around the filter or it will be noisy. Yes read the instructions ☺️ I found I cough less at night and removes pet odour. The 3000 is quiet large but 2000 or 1000 good for open plan living spaces.
