TruSens Z-2000
MPNs: Z-2000 and Z2000AU4 reviews
Works well until it becomes a dust agitator – I got over 4 years ago to control allergens. Worked well for under two years. Iv regularly change the filters. But after 2 years i noticed dust building up on the exhaust grills and on the surfaces where the air purifier is pointed even with a NEW set of filters.gave it a good clean and made sure everything is set up correctly but still dust in the grills and where it is pointed. Waste of money after 1 years. Not worth buying. It now sits in my storage room. Will try another brand instead

Does not work for dust – The main reason for purchasing this was to remove dust from the air, and it didn't do a single thing for it. There's literally a dust build up on top on the thing and it's been on 24/7 since I bought it one month ago. The auto sensor pod also doesn't work, every three hours like clockwork it will crank it up to max fan speed for two minutes then drop back down. It woke me up during the night from the random jump in noise. I've contacted Trusens and they said, "there must have been a spike in pollutants", but it happens only every three hours. Seems like some sort of internal timer fault. Would not recommend this product for dust, maybe it does work for allergens? Not sure.

Very good, but – I bought this due to a smoker in the house and I don't want yellow walls or fabric smelling of smoke. For this, it does the job fantastically. It's also very quiet on the low setting, barely audible. I have another purifier from Kmart that also works well but on low setting it is a fair bit louder. The issue with the TruSens is that the replacement filters are very expensive, about $80. The Kmart filters for the medium purifier are $20.
The filter doesn't last very long either, about 3 months, but I expect it would last much longer if it was used for reasons other than smoking and just purifying the air, which would make the price more acceptable. When I take the filter out it is completely yellow. I can see it's doing the job.
For now I am using the Kmart purifier, and accept the noise due to the low cost of the filters. I can buy 4 of them compared to 1 TruSens filter. We'll see how long they last.
It truly is a very good air purifier. For those using it just to clear the air, to help with allergies etc, you'd do well. I'm sure the filter would last a lot longer than it does mine due to cigarette smoke.
