WONT EVER BUY THIS AGAIN – I've been a Lady Grey tea drinker for many yrs. I ph Twinings Aust office to complain about the appalling bad taste past year or so! Was told production has moved to Poland & they cant get essential ingredient any more. The taste lately is even more revolting. Waste of $. One's Ive been buying still have blue tags not brown as some people reporting. Can any1 recommend a better similar tea? They've changed Earl Grey as well. :(

My favourite tea – A friend recently got me onto this tea and I love it so much. A great change for an earl grey drinker. Even my 5 year old son like it! Its a favorite in our house Show details

RIP Lady Grey Loose Tea~ she has very sadly (& secretly!) departed...shame on TWININGS – Two years ago whilst living in the USA I noticed the distinctive blue cornflower petals I knew in the loose tea had disappeared IN THE TEA BAGS (loose tea NOT availble AT ALL in USA! )... & this along with the unique heightened aroma/taste. I wrote to the USA distributor AND CC'd Twinings UK head office ..I was ignored by both. HUH! Says it all I… Read more

think! I managed to get some of the old boxed LGT from Scandinavia (via Germany!), but whilst better than the inauthentic nonsense in the tea bags--its but even the version sold now in Scandinavia is a only pale version of the original. I'll try one of the Aussie "French Lady Grey" blends soon..it surely HAS to be closer to the original!

If there was a NO STAR I would rate it at that – The product has become just tea. Open the box and there is NONE of that wonderful perfume of Lady Grey tea that we have become addicted to. Their excuse is that the supplier Packed in POLAND!!!) stuffed up. Recompensed a gift certificate - recently I received an email saying EARL GREY tea was back on line.... asked them what happened with Lady Grey tea. Three weeks later still no response. Show details

Twinings Lady Grey – Ive had the same problem and thought I was going mad. So glad to read these comments. Taking the box back to Woolworths tomorrow. So an update- the manager of Malvern Woolies opened two other 100 bag boxes, both with different production/serial numbers on the boxes, from each other, and from my faulty tea box, and both were normal. So I would… Read more

say this fault has been limited to one run only. Definitely take back any box that is faulty and they will happily exchange.

Nothng like Lady Grey taste – I have bought a large box hoping these would be different to the small packs I have bought when travelling. They are the same brown tabs and the tea is lacking any distinct flavour, in fact they are rather unpleasant. I threw out each small pack after just one try. Looks like Lady Grey is off my shopping list. Very Disappointed as Twinings was always a favourite. I do buy Earl Grey as well. Show details

Very disappointed - zero star rating – I have been drinking Lady Grey for absolutely years. As with other comments, opened my box to new labels and not the usual aroma. Made my tea hoping the taste would be the same lovely flavour..... NOPE! I hope Twinings correct this and go back to the old flavour. It was delicious. Show details

More Like Black – I recently bought a new box of 100 Twinings Lady Grey and apart from the new bag tag. It tastes and smells just like black with no bergamot aroma. I'm awfully disappointed. Please, please change it back to what it was. Show details

New taste/packaging not great – Usually love my lady grey. New box has brown labels and it’s tastes like something is wrong with it...not very nice unfortunately. Love to have my old lady grey taste back. Show details

Awful. Never again – I’ve been drinking Lady Grey tea for years. Tonight I opened a new 100 box of Lady Grey teabags and noticed brown labels not aqua. The tea it made had no aroma or flavour. I returned these to Woolies who refunded the cost and gave me a box of a Earl Grey for free. Very Disappointed Show details

Twinings Lady Grey tea flavour changed for the worse – I love Twinings Lady Grey tea and recently purchased 100 pack with new brown tags. So disappointed in the flavour! Tastes like ordinary tea; too strong and where is the bergamot flavour? Will not buy it again. Show details

A disappointed defector due to absolutely dreadful new Lady Grey – I have been drinking the gorgeous tasting Lady Grey for many, many years. I purchased a further three boxes (100s) at Woolworths as I had almost finished my other box. I made myself a cup of tea from the new box and thought it had been filled with the wrong teabags and noticed the tags had changed to brown with no name on it. When I took another… Read more

sip it was like drinking hot water only. No taste, no lovely aroma, no depth. I even tried putting 2 teabags in the next cup I made but still awful. So, so disappointing. What has happened to the wonderful Lady Grey I knew and LOVED. The wheel wasn't broken, why fix it? For years I have been a loyal Twining's customer but no longer. I am going to take my other two unopened boxes and ask for a refund.

Disappointed with the taste of lady grey – I have been drinking lady grey for years, I purchased two boxes at Woolworths when I got home I noticed tags had changed to brown, when I made the tea it didn’t smell the same and it doesn’t taste nice at all, purchased another box today and same result, can I please have these refunded and can I please have the real lady grey tea, it was my favourite - very disappointing. Show details

Worse than Earl Grey – Lady Grey tastes like drinking a flower - in a bad way. I bought box of 50 tea bags and I have 45 left to go.

Excellent – I love this slightly different version of Earl Grey tea, I get sick of having the same cofee or tea all the time so I constantly mix it up and this one is always in my cupboard. I love it with milk and a tiny bit of sugar, its nice and strong but not overly caffeinated. Really lovely flavours. I love the bergamot and the citrus together with… Read more

black tea, its different than your regular earl grey tea. I think this is a great tea, there is nothing I dislike about it. Although I might get a bit sick of it if I had it every day.

Excellent – I first tried this tea a few months back at a friend's house. It was served in a lovely tea pot, with china cups and it was just right. Slightly fruity touch, but extremely subtle because I do not as a rule like fruity teas. This one is your traditional black tea with just a hint of something else. Best taken black. Light and excellent quality. I… Read more

so love the taste of this tea. It is quite subtle, more like a normal black tea but with a slight extra to it.Best taken black with no milk in my opinion. I like a bit of variety so it wouldn't be my choice all the time but as a staple tea to have on hand, first class. My son, who likes his variety teas, didn't like this one, he felt the 'orange' in it intruded. I barely noticed it myself-it was black with just a hint of something else.
