Twinings Warming Chai Latte

Lovely – This was lovely, really enjoyed it, sadly no longer available where I live. Show details
Favourite Chia Tea – I see complaints, however if expecting a 'True' herbal mixture to dissolve like the cheap sugary dried milky versions, then this tea is not for you. This Chai is the Real Deal. Full of spicy flavour and one to sip slowly and savour the delights of exotic spices from far away. Not your average tea! Well done Twinnings for breaking free from mass… Read more
produced quick fix sweet novelty drinks to a Chai experienced as a spicy delight for the senses. Yes there are remnants of herbs at the bottom of the cup - why not do a swirl with the last drops and gently pour in the saucer and do tea cup reading like Nanna used to do ?
Great product – With the proper preparation this works wonderfully well. The key is stirring the powder well so it dissolves in hot water. Personally I add additional hot chai tea to the powder and get the strength I'm looking for as I'm weaning myself of coffee and enjoy the strength of flavour I get from doing this. My problem is I cant source this product from either Coles or WW. Show details
Recommend this Chai – I really enjoy this Chai. Use 3 heaped teaspoons and frothed milk. Compared with other products, it is way better. Have been enjoying for over a year most days. Show details
Twinings chai (latte) – The powder does get clumpy, but hot water will dissolve them anyway. I found that adding a little bit of milk at the end (just like with coffee), improves it immensely and I've come to absolutely love this chai. The problem is, I can no longer find it in shops! Show details
Warming chai by Twinings – I’m a big fan on twinings normally, but this was horrible. Don’t bother trying this chai, very disappointing. Ended up throwing out the full tin. Show details
Love it. The instruction could be better – I made this on my Nespresso Aeroccino. Push 15g or 4 heaping teaspoons through a mesh strainer to break up the clumps. You'll end up with larger pieces which are the coconut sugar. I add it back in after my Aeroccino is done with making the drink otherwise it might stop the whisk from spinning. I'm not a fan of coconut so I'm happy that I didn't… Read more
get coconut aftertaste.
I don't leave reviews on this website but I'm hoping my method helps to keep these new products on the shelf. I'm sad to see these priced to clear at Coles (50% off) but big win for me because I'm buying more to stock up.
The reason why the powder is clumpy is because Twinning didn't use anti-caking powder in the product. It even says on the can - Made with natural ingredients -No added colours, artificial flavours preservatives.
Don’t bother – I had to do a star otherwise it won’t submit.. Will not dissolve, How did this ever get passed in quality control Show details
Mixture does not dissolve – I've tried to give this a go many times to give it a chance, but officially gave up today. No matter what I've tried, even following the instructions completely at the back of the tin, the mixture doesn't dissolve. I made it into a paste with hot water as the instructions and used frothed hot milk, nothing dissolves it. You literally feel as… Read more
though you're swallowing sand mixed with milk! It is terrible and bland, this product needs to be off the shelves.
Lumpy – As soon as I opened the tin with great anticipation, I looked at the "powder" and it was lumpy. I persisted and put some lumpy latte in the cup adding warmed soy milk and it was a sludgy looking mess that tasted like sand with cheap turmeric in it. If I had a receipt I would have taken it back to Woolworths. And at $10 a tin... I am not happy Show details
Very disappointed – I purchased this product today from Coles Penrith and was so disappointed as twinings is such a well known brand and I thought it would be good, but it was disgusting. I usually purchase the Lipton brand classic chai latte which is a perfect blend, but unfortunately there are none on the shelves. I will not be purchasing Twinings again. Show details
Coconuty taste – Easily dissolvable. Sweet enough. I guess it has the right ingredients except for that hint of coconut which makes me not wanna try it again. Definitely my last cup wish I can just return it. Show details
Delicious! – Contrary to another review, mine dissolved as it should. I mixed it with some hot water (enough to create that paste or until the powder has completely dissolved). The taste was perfect and in my opinion, better than a lot of the weaker chai lattes I have purchased from cafes (to each their own, I guess). I would definitely buy it again!
Terrible taste! – This little tin caught my eye at the supermarkets due to the beautiful packaging, so decided to give it a try. I am an avid chai latte drinker so know what a chai latte should taste like. This tasted terrible from the start. The powder doesn't dissolve fully in boiling hot water as shown in the pics. The taste is creamy as advertised but nothing… Read more
like a real chai latte with the spices too bland. To me it tastes water down and not very warming on a cold winter day. Would definitely not buy this again.
