Always great service here. Just a quick rotate and balance. All done and dusted no fuss and good price. Thankyou very much
Disappointing Experience Involving Third-Party Voucher Sellers I recently moved to Melbourne and was due for a car service when I was approached in a car park by someone selling service vouchers. The offer seemed reasonable, and when I called Tyre Now to confirm, they acknowledged the vouchers were legitimate. Based on that reassurance, I… Read more
purchased two—one for myself and one for my partner.
When I later tried to book a service, Tyre Now's available times didn’t suit me. I then decided to return the vouchers, only to find out they were actually issued by a company called 33 Direct. I contacted the number on the voucher, which routed me to Brisbane. It took me 2–3 weeks just to get in touch with someone. Eventually, I was given the contact of a man named Jimmy Singh, who initially seemed helpful and told his staff to process a refund.
I returned the vouchers as requested, but once they received them, I was completely ignored. Months later, I saw the same person selling vouchers in the same car park. I explained my situation, and he gave me a new number. After repeating the whole story, I was once again ignored.
Tyre Now did try to assist when I contacted them again, and eventually Jimmy reached out—but instead of resolving the issue, he became defensive, telling me not to call him repeatedly or speak to others about this. I told him plainly that it’s my hard-earned money, and I have every right to follow up.
He claimed to have attempted a refund twice, blaming the bank for failed payments—clearly an excuse. After that, he went silent again.
Over a year has passed, and I’ve still not received my refund. I even visited Tyre Now in person hoping to explain the situation properly, but the person at the counter became loud and dismissive, insisting they only handle the service side of the voucher and have nothing to do with 33 Direct. He wouldn’t even let me finish explaining.
After checking other online reviews, I realized I’m not alone—others have also fallen victim to this scam through 33 Direct.
Why I’m leaving this review:
Tyre Now, you are knowingly working with a third-party company that has scammed others, yet continue to allow them to use your name. Your business name and address are printed in large, bold letters at the top of the voucher, while the 33 Direct details are tiny and easily overlooked. Most customers believe we’re buying directly from you. 33 Direct has no legitimate website, complaint portal, or customer service. There’s no accountability whatsoever. As a local business, you have a responsibility to partner with honest companies. Your name is being used to sell these vouchers, and you must take ownership of that. I hope you take this feedback seriously and reconsider your association with 33 Direct.
Very bad customer service – Very bad customer service. They charged me 200$ for voucher . And when I took my car for service and they asked me 500$ extra for the service . Front rest staff was very rude to me
Excellent! – Great service! Very well priced, I wouldn’t hesitate to not hesitate to recommend these guys!
Bad customer service – Bad customer service, front desk staff(possibly manager) was rude and was not very welcoming at all. Also, 299 maintenance package is a trick, so don't fall for it when someone offers it to you in the parking lot of shopping centres. Read details before signing and paying.
After sales service – Ordered 4 x Hartes Metal Monster rims for my Dmax. Rims arrived quickly but not in perfect as new condition with a minor fault to 1 of the rims. Also the the centre caps do not fit over the bearing hubs on the front wheels despite these rims being specifically advertised for Dmax. This alone would not be an issue if the seller was prepared to… Read more
resolve the issue. However this company has absolutely no after sales service does not reply to messages and fails to call back and in my opinion lie through there teeth. My advice do business elsewhere.
Terrible – [Name Removed] at TyresNow has ripped me off to the tune of $1,100 for the past 5 months - [Name Removed] has my money and I have no rims. TyresNow have not delivered on a purchase and have withheld $1,010 for the past 5 months, plus they have refused to refund the amount. [Name Removed] continues to be dishonest and has made one excuse after the… Read more
other and broken every promise to deliver the rims that were paid for. I am now having to pursue legal action to get my money back. It first started when TyresNow advertised rims for sale which they didn't have in stock. Then [Name Removed] told me I'd have to buy 2 rims which would fit - which they didn't. I emailed [Name Removed] 5 times via sales@tyresnow.com.au and he didn't answer once. I had to post the rims back to the store at my own additional cost of $90. So now I am out of pocket by $1,100.00, Then I got onto [Name Removed] over the phone and he blamed his staff for not forwarding my emails to him (which was obviously crap) so he told me to email him via [Content Removed] so I've emailed him another 3 times and guess what, he hasn't acknowledged or replied once. I then got him on the phone again and he said he told his staff to send the rims and he would follow up - again a load of lies. I waited some weeks, emailed again and no response and no rims. I got hold of him again over the phone and he promised me the rims were due into his store in 8 to 10 days and he would post them as soon as they arrived. That was 5 weeks ago so it shows that [Name Removed] is a repeat liar. I am now forced to lodge a complaint via Paypal, eBay and failing that I will be commencing legal action to get my money back and will now sue TyresNow for legal fees and other related costs. My emails and phone calls have always been polite but the lesson learnt is once [Name Removed] has your money then he doesn't give a crap about you. Absolutely unbelievable that a business can be so unprofessional by ripping somebody off by not delivering what was paid for - how do you sleep at night mate.
Horrible – Would never recommend these guys to anyone! We put a $1000 deposit down for tyres, rims, lift kit & a few other things for our ranger. Told them we would come back in a few months to get it done. Was told no dramas. Afterwards we changed our mind on what we wanted done & called to discuss. We were told no chance of changing as they had already… Read more
ordered and received parts for us. We had no option but to stick with what we originally ordered. A few months later our house burnt down & we lost everything. We couldn't afford the extra $6k for a while so decided to wait. Once we got back on our feet we contacted tyres now to book in to get it all done. We were told as it had been 12 months since the invoice that they would not honour the $1000 deposit & would not refund our money. We explained our situation & how we had lost everything & they did not budge. No compassion & honestly plain & simply they robbed us. What an absolute joke! Will be telling everyone we know about this nasty company. Tried to make a review on Facebook but they don't have the option.... wonder why that is?
TyresNow Above & Beyond! Thank you! – Ahhh YES!! Bonus points for TyresNow going beyond their services! 2 of my tyres blew out on Cooper Street Somerton with no one in sight a quick search for local tyre shops directed me to TyresNow a quick call and within 15 minutes they had someone fitting new tyres to my car on the side of the road! Couldn't have been any luckier.
