Bad customer service and horrible service as the shops are closed most of the time – We went to Udayia's textile shop just beside the grocery shop. We went three times but each time its not open. without any notice. that the sales lady always chucks sickies and that's why the shop is not opened. its inconvenience for us to visit the shop when its always closed. I urge the boss of Udayia to look into it and hire some one more sensible with good customer service and does not chuck sickies.

item to return – we bought a 10 kg pack of Aashirwad atta on jan 23rd. When we made chapatis , they tasted as if there is fine stone powder is mixed hurting the teeth. we went to return the same today on 5th feb since we stay in boxhill now , we were told to produce the bill of purchase then only some actions will be taken. never happened it with coles , bunnings, woolworth . so my advise to the fellow customers.. keep the bill till your product is finished. Show details

allowed me to speak to the Owner. This guy is rude and totally unfit for customer facing role. No words can explain his behaviour (aggressive), with utter disregards to customer, he was comparing Udaya store to retail groups like Woolworths/Coles. When I insisted that I need to speak to the owner, this so called in-charge said: send an email. Basically, that tells their attitude towards customer service. Instead, I left my details expecting call back from owner. not received yet...! in fact I doubt I will receive one...?

Smelly food, long queue and bad customer service – Udaya store blacktown selling smelly food. we bought groceries and some food today today one item from there was idly which was smelly and hard rock. definitely not fresh and must be several days old. A brand shop like Udaya in blacktown selling bad smelly food. And when I called them to complain I got a simple response that manager is busy, what a great customer service Udaya Blacktown. Overpriced store no respect to customer – Overhyped store, over crowded no COVID-19 rules, over priced items. Difficult to check the prices and expiry date on the sweet boxes. that. With no second thought I paid that’s when I came to know the price of that Jalebi box was $6.50. Even with a little wind the container can fall on the ground that’s how they arranged, and I told the counter girl that the other customers would have to pay for other boxes as they were also about to pay that’s well they were organised. Be careful they don’t take any items return, once paid that’s it. At the counter they have mentioned return policy the words sounded very rude.

Store Policy – Just beware that UDAYA store policy is that if you drop anything you end up paying for it. We were not aware of this policy, it is not displayed anywhere in the store or if it was not in any prominent position that customers would notice.

Crappy store manager and store policy – Whenever I dislike a service or product I avoid writing a review. But I had to write this review to point out that udaya has a crappy store policy of not allowing it's paying customers to use their toilet in case of an emergency. and I should use the toilet in the bar two shops away. This is when the store employees confirmed that they have a toilet. Why should I use the toilet of another business when I am Udaya's customer. The Bar employees were kind enough to let me use their toilet. However, the employees working there are really nice people.
