Excellent – we have had this phone for about 5 years. It came with a total of 3 handsets. I have not yet had to replace the battery in any of them. It has a good range and I can walk around the house without any drop-out. I can also go into the front and back yard without a problem. I have paired up one of the handsets with a uniden headphone and microphone.… Read more ·  1

we can walk around the house and chat with our hands free. very useful. Neat compact. small footprint on table. nice feel to buttons. very clear sound. belt clip weak. To upgrade a phone number in the address book is easy , but you then need to send it to each handset separately. They should have a function where all 3 handsets and the base unit update the address-book together.

Excellent – We have had this phone for about 5 years, with no problems, except the fading. Will try charging away from metal objects as suggested. Answering machine is great, and can be changed to answer after various number of rings. (Many phones we looked at couldn't.) Would definitely recommend this phone. We had a Telstra unit before this one, and it was… Read more

hopeless. We hoped that spending more would result in a phone that lasted longer than its warranty.Nice, neat unit, simple to use. Like the various ring tones linked with caller id. Fades in and out during calls sometimes. (Interesting what I read on this site, about being near metal objects affecting the phone.)

Terrible – Do not buy. Ours stopped functing came up with error code E8 and E0 on the main base (nothing else works without it) - I emailed Uniden and they have said it is a minimun of AU$88 as it is just out of warrenty. My parents also own this phone too - and they too have had problems - the talk button does not always work - they try to answer the call… Read more

and it just does not let them do so - so the phone just keeps ringing - not good. Seemed like a really good phone. Great features etc. Stopped working just out of warrenty and is a min of $88 for Uniden to look at.

OK – When we first bought this phone set a little over a year ago we thought we had the best phones ever...it has so many special features which enables you to select specific ring tones for certain people so you know who is calling you and the ability to store all the phone numbers of your people you know so when they call their number is displayed… Read more

along with the ability to prioritise your most dialled numbers into a quick dial option (you need to read the booklet very carefully though on how to do all of this and allow a whole day as you need to put it into each hand set individually). Anyway, after approximately 2weeks one of our handsets started playing up....voices were fading in and out and got worse to the point where you could not hear the caller on the other end at all so we took it into Uniden's local repairer (Telstra don't replace after 7days), and they sent the whole set away to Uniden to be repaired and after about 6weeks and ringing them so many times we finally got it back and after a few weeks it did it again so we took it back in again and they gave us a whole new set which works fine so far...that was almost a year ago...wish us luck! Oh and yeah we haven't found the time yet to put all that information in again so that feature isn't getting used now, but I do love the speaker option as I can still do things with the phone on the bench! Looks Nice! Orange Backlight is great! Features are great! Price...wasn't that cheap...could've been cheaper!
