Upstairs Restaurant

Time kept on ticking... as we waited... and waited... hungry!! – Last night in town and our family group of six booked in at 7pm. We turned up slightly early, got our seats, and ordered drinks. We then waited, and waited, and went hunting for someone to take our order. Order taken, we waited... nearly one hour later, the kids had their chicken n chips, adults had... 4 pieces of garlic bread when a waitress realized we were still waiting. Staff were closing down the restaurant whilst we still waited. We had been waiting nearly 95 minutes before food arrived... not that great either! One of the party had to leave as they could not eat after 0815 due to a stomach disorder. Upon leaving they tried to charge for the very late meal, and complained to us, the customers, that they were a small business and thus inferring that poor service was okay. We were then told that they had worked all day and then at the restaurant... and that was our problem, how? VERY, VERY POOR SERVICE, EXPENSIVE FOOD, AND POOR QUALITY MEALS. As a visiting Kiwi from a small tourist town in NZ, I would be disgusted if our restaurants were like this.

Served old dairy cow for Sirlion – The sirloin steak was tuff and overcooked ,tasted like old dairy cow as two presentation.staff customer service poor. Lack of care when food was returned to kitchen. Don't recommend eating there.
