I love this glider, I've had it for 5 years and 3 babies and it's still going strong. The stain resistant coat is pretty effective as I have a light grey coloured recliner and it still looks pretty clean. No odd squeaking or noises, and all functions for the chair and ottoman work beautifully still. It is a wonderful chair. When I've travelled… Read more
with breastfeeding babies I've always ended up with back pain trying to nurse without my glider, so I think that speaks volumes to the comfort and support it gives.
My top tips are to buy and assemble it way before baby is born. I think a bunch of the complaints about assembly are likely due to sleep deprived parents struggling with it, assembling it while pregnant was less stressful although it was definitely a 2 person job.
Best Valco Baby Glider! – The Valco Eurobell has been an absolute lifesaver for our family! This rocker is incredibly comfortable and very affordable. It has helped me settle my baby countless times, providing much-needed peace and quiet. I highly recommend the Valco Eurobell to any parent looking for a reliable and budget-friendly solution!
Love this glider – We have this and it’s incredibly comfortable. Perfect gliding motion and very soft. Would recommend. Show details
Only place to settle bub!! 10/10 – I love this chair, rocking in it has been the only place that baby will settle! It’s extremely comfortable, has a really smooth gliding motion and many other great features!! I especially love the storage in the ottoman, great for hiding my snacks when breastfeeding ;)
Leather disintegrates quickly – Leather disintegrates quickly. I needed to get it repatched or re-upholstered. Squeaks very loud too. Show details
Flimsy piece of rubbish – Purchased in feb 2021, began using end of May, bearings in glider base failed abs make horrid creaking noise when used. Had the base replaced under warranty, but I had to pay $65 freight from the store I bought it from (3hrs away from my home). The new frame lasted 3 months before it began squeaking. I refuse to pay freight AGAIN for another… Read more
replacement. The footstool has dropped three different parts/bolts. All from normal use, no heavy people either or excessive rocking.
Poorly constructed with cheap parts – This chair is comfortable and well-suited to being a feeding/rocking chair. It was especially good for my shorter wife when she was also recovering from her caesarean. The assembly is very poor however - parts fit together badly; everything feels super-cheap. I'm pretty comfortable with Ikea and other self-assembly but this is one of the worst… Read more
builds I've encountered.
Worst of all though is that the swivel/rocking mechanism breaks after a very short time (like a month or two). The ballbearings in the bottom of the swivel mechanism literally break apart as a result of the rocking motion and so the rocking becomes clunky.
In fairness to Valco they did replace the entire base of the chair within warranty, but the replacement had the same issue within two months. They also sent out more replacement parts when the second one failed. We'll stick with it for our second baby - as replacing it would be throwing good money after bad.
I'd rather pay a little more to get something of higher quality (and thought that was what I was doing with Valco's top-end glider) that might last for a couple of babies but unfortunately this isn't it - and I'm not sure there's much else on the market. Of the dozens of products, big and small, we bought when we had kids this is easily the worst value and quality.
Very, very unimpressed – After spending $600 on this chair, I would've thought that it would be well made and last through however many kids I end up having. However, it started squeaking and 'clunking' very shortly after starting to use it. I contacted Valco baby and they replaced the bottom part of the chair (that was good), however it took only a matter of days for the… Read more
new base to start squeaking again and a few months later it is doing the 'clunking' thing again even worse than the previous base. It is now of course out of warranty. I struggle to get my little one to sleep in it due to the squeaking, which also becomes worse when you try to stand up. I can't sell this to someone else in the state that it is in to buy a new one so it is basically $600 down the drain. I do not recommend.
Poor quality – The look is ok, but the build quality is extremely poor. I found myself unable to fit the screws into the holes. How is this possible? A dummy ikea is built hundred thousands better than this crap. The chair will work fine if u manage to assemble all the parts. Show details
Looks nice but poorly manufactured – Got the chair home and found backrest pivot bolts binding in welded nuts in sides of chair on assembly. Contacted store and was informed that we were assembling it wrong. Actual cause was bent armrest frame meaning holes not lining up. Took back and got replacement. Found frame alignment in second chair worse than first one. Clamped and… Read more
assembled with impact driver. Both zippers on chair sides broken, repaired them then couldn't close as they jam under armrests once the armrests are tight.
Levered armrest up to clear zippers. Once assembled chair is comfortable. After reading other reviews I doubt it'll last.
Manufacturing is amateur at best. Typical for Chinese sourced items sold at European prices.
Pick up your game Valco Baby you should be embarrassed.
Valco baby eurobell – DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! Worst piece of crap ever! It had a broken base out of the box. Replaced and it has squeaked loudly from the get go! Silcone spray, greae, used it all nothing works. I hate this chair what a waste of $600 i just gave away to Babymode. Chair also clunks on rocking motion around 1 month of use. I know I built it correctly, am a… Read more
mechanic.
How a $600 doesnt have replaceable bearings is beyond me. Stupid me for not reading reviews and letting the mrs pick the dumb chair.
ZERO STARS! Cannot afford another chair so stuck with this hunk of junk that wakes baby more than puts him to sleep.
Uncomfortable, arms too skinny, ruined my back – Extremely difficult to recline, mechanism very stiff, angle of chair forces you to slump forward when feeding baby. Arms are too skinny to do. “Football hold” position for feeding baby which many women who have c-sections need to do. Fabric ripped at seam after a few weeks use. Would give zero stars if I could, terrible quality. Show details
Biggest piece of trash I’ve ever bought! – If I could give this a minus 10 I would.. you rock your baby trying to get them to sleep and all you hear is constant squeaks and cracks.. and this happen from the get go.. not even worth it if they were giving it away.. Show details

Bearings Break – Bearings broke after only 2 months. The frame was replaced on warranty. The exact same problem happened again to the next frame and now it is out of warranty. The bearings are welded into the frame so they aren't able to be replaced on your own either. Valco Baby needs to produce quality products if they are going to sell them for $500! Show details
Terrible. Bearings don’t last. What a waste of money – Chair completely failed on us. Contacted for replacement and told us it was out of warranty and told me to buy a new frame completely at our cost $150 after spending $500 on the chair. No thanks. Terrible service and product. Show details
Bearings failed – It was comfortable but the swing bearings failed after 8 months, the base was replaced under warranty but the bearings failed again 6 months later (outside of warranty). I expect better for a $550 chair. Clear design or manufacturing issue causing stress on the bearings. It has also been built in a way that prevents just replacing the bearings.… Read more
Very disappointing.
Update: I called and Valco have said they sent new intermediate arms out, which is good. I'll update when they arrive.
Such a shame - a chair that doesn’t last long – I loved this chair so much. It was amazing for our nursing chair. But at the 16month mark the frame broke and it’s out of warranty. Definitely not worth the money for it to have this recurring problem, as you can see from other reviews. So disappointing. Look elsewhere for your nursing chair - this issue was resolved and I’ve updated the rating to reflect that Show details · 3
Frame broke – I had the same problem as some of the other reviews here. The base "steel" frame under both arm rests had snapped causing the chair to be unstable and unusable. This comes from everyday general use + poor welding. I'm just glad my 2 year old was not playing on it when it broke. To their credit, the chair did last us 2 years, but I would… Read more
expect a $600+ chair to last a bit longer than that. I'm also guessing that it's out of warranty now, so we're on our own here. I'll have to get a mate to weld it back together....

Base broke – Chair worked well for 4 months then began to become unstable and rock from side to side as well as back and forth really unnerving. When trying to work out what the issue was we noticed that some sort of inner workings of the connecting swivel section of the base had broken on the inside. For the price we paid we were really disappointed.
Hi Tia, thanks for the message :) Did you purchase it… Read more
2 broken frames, out of warranty – We purchased a new Valco Eurobell glider for our first baby. The main bearing in the base was extremely noisy to the point we didn't want to use the chair. To their credit, Valco replaced it. Now, 2 years later and after almost no use, the second frame has broken. This is a welded steel frame (made in China of course) and one of the swing arms has… Read more
literally snapped in half rendering the chair practically unusable. Warranty is 12 months. Chair was $600 and got maybe 3 months use for baby 1 and broke as soon as baby 2 arrived. Avoid at all costs.
