Cannot live with out will use again and again – I love this stroller we use it everyday for a minimum of 30 mins and maximum of 2 hours. We have used the bassinet and now the standard seat. I is nice and sturdy - doesn't tip and is amazing at off roading and using while walking the dog. Cannot wait to have another bub to use it with that one too haha
Massive bulky – I have found it to be huge bulky, the crib does not sit well in it and only just sits there, takes up all the room in my boot, very tiny storage basket not big enough for a change bag. I have back problems and because on its size it is difficult to manuver to pack away. Also I am tall and s is my husband and it does not adjust high enough to push… Read more
with out slouching unless you are short
I would never buy this pram. It is a very unwanted gift because of its inpracticality. Very disappointed. Have had for 6 months and only used twice when the giver of it was present
Like it so much i've owned two!!!! – Excellent steering, glides on uneven surfaces, bassinet attachment is fantastic!!! We Also have the hitch hiker attachment for our eldest that we bought once #2 arrived which is great & we use it daily- honestly don't know what we'd do without it! Extra plus is it's so light & as someone with chronic back trouble its been great!!! Light weight,… Read more
excellent steering, bassinet & hitch hiker Not great shade without additional shade accessory, a little awkward to lift when folded.
Love It – We bought this stroller when our daughter was 9 months old. We had been through 4 previously (Love and Care Delta...broke three times, even with being replaced, but had a known issue) & one from Big W. Our funds aren't great and everyone was telling us to get a Baby Jogger which was way out of our price range. We purchased the Valco Matrix Dart… Read more · 1
Plus (which included the bassinet) for $320. Have used it most days for 6 months now with no issues. We trusted the brand so much that we spent the extra to get the VeeBee umbrella stroller for shopping trips.
We wanted a stroller that rearfaced, however I don't believe any 3-wheelers do. This stroller was a compromise as the bassinet means you face your newborn.
Their facebook page is great for product support. Bassinet attachment, Large sun shade, Basket decent size, Three different toddler attachments, Additional accessories It does take up most of the boot.
Pram no.7 – This will be pram number seven for me, it will also be my last. I am very happy with my purchase. The pram glides well, is great on unsealed surfaces, has awesome high visibility (Dart Green) for traffic safety. Folds easy. Good basket size. Good sunshade with optional extras available. Can't keep my 2yr old out of it :) Small, Funky Colours, Inexpensive, Quality Product. Has slight pull to one side when on unsealed surface.
Great pram! – We bought this pram 5 years ago when expecting bub #1 and I still use it for #2. We initially bought it with the toddler seat attachment as we planned on having #1 and #2 close together, which we did, but I wouldn't recommend it as a double as its quite unstable with the detachable seat over the single front wheel - it tipped over with both kids… Read more
in it when DS reached out for something! But I love it as a single pram. It's really easy to steer. It comes with a pump to pump up any flats. The basinette is wonderful for a newborn. It folds easily. It washes well. It's narrow enough to fit any shopping aisle/checkout (I havent found one it doesn't fit yet!). The zip onto the hood sunshade is great as it gives full sun/UV protection and is easy to use. Likewise, the rain cover is great too, fits well, covers whole pram and very easy to use. My Brother in law and his wife have just bought one for their bub #1 (due any day) as they loved ours so much! I'd recommend this as a single pram to anyone! Manuverable, washable, bassinet a wonderful extra, great all terrain single pram! No good as a double pram with the add on toddler seat as its very unstable with the seat over the front single wheel.
Good, mid range pram – We bought this pram basically because we liked the bassinet function of it. We wanted a pram in the jogger style and one that would be easy to steer. This pram IS easy to steer and I've only had 1 flat tire (easily fixed) in 1 year. My biggest complaint is how it folds down as I find it a little finicky and bulky for the boot of the car.… Read more
Especially with the bassinet in the back, there's no hope for room for anything else. If I were to do it over again I probably would look into a complete system that has the infant capsule etc. also the shopping basket is small, and initially I thought I wouldn't be bothered by that but it turns out I am. Also, the sunshade barely covers anything so we use a sarong despite owning the appropriate valco suncover..the one meant for the pram was finicky to use. Apparently the following years model has a better sunshade? Bassinet, quality and craftsmanship, maneuverability and steering. Bulky and difficult to collapse. Small shopping basket. Sun coverage (or lack there of).
Terrific for terrain – We had a travel system which was perfect for us but we go jogging a fair bit and go to Motocross on gravel/rocks. This pram is excellent, bub loves it for when we are on rough terrain as he hardly feels any of the jolts. I found it quite easy to steer and to fold up, fits in my Toyota Yaris which is perfect (yes it does take up a bit of boot space… Read more
but well worth it). The seat reclines so bub can have a sleep when he wants to and the recline is very easy to work out as well. All in all, a terrific pram which I would definitely recommend. Seat reclines, good shade cover, great accessories, easy to push, TERRIFIC on rough terrain
Great Product – I looked at a few prams its between this pram and Steelcraft. I like this one as you can extend the handel bags and the Bassinet comes with the pram and its removes and you can turn it around to face you or face the other way. This looks very comfortable for the baby and has a big sun cover. I liked everything about this Pram its to hard to choose. I didn't like the attachment for the toddler as you can hit your feet on it when you walk.
Excellent Pram – We bought this pram after our first pram became difficult to steer. The difference in the steering was amazing and find it such a joy to push. The only downfall would be that it takes up quite a bit of boot space but what pram doesn't. I would recommend this pram to anyone Easy to Steer Takes up lots of boot space
Good – would definately recommend this pram to family and friends, just not if you are going to need the toddler seat. im likely to still keep it as my jogger, but then buy a double stroller as well i bought this pram second hand, in as new condition. the valco matrix is just so easy to push, just glides along with you. it is very easy to manuvre around… Read more
shop isles and through crowds- so i started using it as my 'everything' pram rather than just my jogger pram. the main con for me is that it is very akward and hard to get in and out of my car (i have a wagon style boot) which does deter me from wanting to use it sometimes. its not the lightest pram to lift either. i was hoping to use their toddler seat attachment when number two came along, but discovered that arrangement will only realistically last about 6 months
Excellent – We are very impressed with the Valco Matrix. It has a smart, stylish design and is constructed with quality materials. It folds easily and fits in the boot of our tiny hatchback car. I find it very lightweight and easy to lift in and out of the car. While it comes with its own pump, we have never had to re-inflate the tyres. The pram is fantastic… Read more
to push, it glides around so smoothly effortlessly, and it's fantastic to steer and control. While we believe the basket underneath is large enough, it is difficult to access when the seat is fully reclined. The brake is very stable and easy to engage, and the safety belt has a great buckle which would be extremely difficult for an older child to figure out how to open. The silver/grey lining on the hood and belt straps is reflective, making evening & night walks safer. The handle is adjustable which comes in handy for us - hubby is a lot taller than me so he can adjust it to suit him. Ours came with the rain cover which is very quick and easy to attach, and is a perfect fit. To be honest, I'm glad I didn't read some of these review before purchasing the Matrix, as we may have decided against buying it and therefore would have missed out on an amazing pram. We've had several prams in the past, but the Matrix is by far the very best and sets a high benchmark. Beautiful to push; folds easily; innovative safety belt buckle; looks great! Basket underneath difficult to access when seat is fully reclined.
Love it! – We have never had a problem with our pram. My son is now 2 and still uses it. We got it because I wanted to be able to see my son in the pram as a baby, but didn't want a reverse handle or interchangeable handle pram so the bassinet worked well for that. My husband was very picky with wheels and had to have pump ups, they have never gone flat! Inexpensive and reliable Takes up most of the boot

Great Pram – Love my Matrix pram. Easy to use, looks good, without the price tag. The best bit for us is the bassinet. When both hoods are closed over it completely envelopes the baby. Only issue is it takes up ALL the boot of our SUV. Bassinet, good price, looks good, easily collapses, steers well, baby comfortable. Takes up all boot space
Good – GREAT PRAM! Nothing to complain about have it over about 14moinths or so no issues!!! great brand worth the investment. Its worth buying a great pram as it holds the most valuable thing in your life. LOVE IT ....mine has the racing stripes!! love the design, fits through everywhere is very easy in everyway not heavy! very light weight the only… Read more · 2
thing is the shade... it doesnt pull down that far as my stroller does ... but most prams on the market are very similar with the shade issue.
Excellent – We love our pram. It goes everywhere, its not too wide, is very comfy for bubs, easy to steer and the bassinet was wonderful when he was a newborn. I love this pram. Its narrow, so fits through doorways, checkouts etc. my son seems comfy in it. Mine came with the bassinet which was wonderful when my son was first born. We used the bassinet… Read more
all the time in and out of the pram. We got it on special so it was much cheaper than the similar prams in other brands (eg-phil and teds). Its very easy to steer, even with one hand. handle/seat doesn't reverse - but it doesn't on most three wheeled prams.
Excellent – We decided to splash out on a good pram before baby was born, then started to wonder if we had wasted our money on a full pram instead of going for a stroller. Our first proper trip out with the Matrix alleviated all our fears as baby loved the trip, we had great fun with the pram and decided that the investment was worthwhile! The 3 pneumatic… Read more
tyres, easy setup, excellent handling, good sunshields and bassinette make this a great stroller, well worth it. Easy to fold up and down, bassinette is a great option which baby loves sleeping in when visiting grandma. Handles well, good turning circle, requiring only the lightest touch to manoeuvre nicely. Big tyres make travel on rough terrain smoother for baby. Trendy looking. Not terribly expensive but will set you back at least half a grand. Under tray access is limited with basinette in place. The stroller is large and we have a hatchback car, so with the stroller in the boot, the bassinette has to travel in the back seat.
Excellent – Great pram. Looks classy, steers beautifully, i think it has much nicer fabric than the tri-modes (they look plastic-y). Heaps of features. Check that it fits in your boot before purchasing - but if an issue the wheels are very simple to take off and put on. Comes with bassinet, can also buy attachment ($25) to adapt it for use with safe n sound… Read more
unity capsule meaning you have a travel system. Smart fabric, narrow wheel base, pump up tyres - great for walking, comes with own pump. toddler seat attachment option also. Only con would be the manuals it came with, they were pretty basic! however valco's website provides more detailed ones (www.valco.com.au) so you can use these.
Bad – I wouldn't buy this stroller if I had my time over - i'm really disappointed with it. At least we got it cheap and it did come with the bassinette. Looks good Terrible hood system - even after we had the hood replaced (which took 4 weeks) the attachment has stretched and continues to fall off. Really unhappy with it
OK – It was on special when we bought this, we thought we were getting a bargain - all the same features as a Phil and Teds without the price tag. Sadly we got what we paid for. The frame of this pram started deteriorating straight after our warranty finished. The tyres on the wheels needed pumping up constantly (we live in the city and did little off… Read more
- roading!). Had the same look as a Phil & Ted's without the price tag
Came with bassinet - great for when your baby is newborn - easily transfers from pram to carry inside so you don't wake bub
Nice looking design, Good storage space underneath, width of pram gets down most grocery aisles
G Frame fell apart as soon as warrantly ended
Tyres not sturdy - needed constant inflating
Does not come with sunshade/rainshade for baby. You need to buy seperately
Bad – Horrible pram, I will not even try to sell it even though nearly brand new as I could not do that to another mum! Easy to fold down and thats about it. I really dislike this pram and want to purchase another. Nearly everything, the bassinette hood wakes baby when you move it as it is SO loud. The storage is too small at the bottom of the pram. cover near the handles lets sunlight in and hits my daughters head so I have to take a blanket to hang over the back. I have had 5 inner tube puncture because the tyres are terrible. 2 tyres went within 10 minutes of being replaced and i was only walking on the footpath! The straps are terrible for the child as they cut across their cheeks alittle bit so have to make sure ther is a muslin wrap over them.
