Good – Overall a great stroller. Steers brilliantly, is compact and the sun shade offers excellent coverage. Looks good too. The brake is not brillant - fiddly to put on and then doesn't always engage properly. Thankfully I don't live in a hilly area and I tend to hold onto the stroller if standing still anyway so not a huge issue. Once I did manage… Read more
to press the catch on one of the front wheels and it fell off when I was lifting it out of the boot but that was probably me being an idiot!! Having said that when we take it on a place in October I'm going to tape the front wheels on so the baggage handlers don't manage to do it - I wont be very impressed if I get off a 12 hour flight with a two wheel stroller, lol lol! Design, easy to steer, good sun shade coverage Brakes not the best, front wheels could come off if careless when folding and getting in and out the boot
Terrible – I would not recommend this stroller due to safety concerns with the brake and the company's inability to repair the product upon return. Light weight and modern looking stroller with large storage area. My stroller has a faulty brake. The left hand break comes loose with a slight push and the right brake comes loose with a little more pressure… Read more
put on it. This stoller was sent back to Valco and returned supposedly repaired. Not long afterwards the same problem arose again. The sunshade/hood is also a poor design and comes off easily and is not easy to reattach as the fabric covers the hooks to insert the hood when the stroller is opened up.
Bad – I bought this stroller for shopping. In hindsight, I wouldn't buy this stroller again. It is all looks and no brains so to speak! For the price it has no value and I could have bought a stroller less then half the price and it would last longer! Love the look of the stroller.. very hot! Easy to push around and folds up really compact When you fold… Read more
it you have to unhook the sunshade part or it unhooks itself anyway. So every time you open it you have to reslide the catch on. The Brakes aren't particularly easy, you have to take care to make sure they are on. After having this stroller for less than a year, maybe 6-9 months, some of the screws have come undone on the frame leaving it useless till I buy some more nuts to secure it, or take it back! Also the front wheels where connected to the stroller are plastic and I'm always scared they are going to snap when you go over a bump.
Excellent – I bought this pram for my 18 month old after getting sick of folding up and lifting her heavy pram. I have not been disappointed and find it the best of all the strollers I have used ( I have three older children as well). It is extremely light weight and easy to fold and fits into the smallest of spaces. It is easy to push even with one hand… Read more
and in the most crowded of shopping centres. The extra fold out sun shade is great as you don't have to worry about fitting those other hard to use sun shades. It has a large shopping basket with fits a whole days shopping. My daughter is a large two year old and she has plenty of room in the seat and is also very comfortable sleeping in the layback position. The harness and brake system are both easy to use. Very light and compact when folded, easy to manouvre and fits through the smallest spaces in shops, large comfortable seat, easy to use layback seat, large shopping basked, fold out additional sun shield, carry bag available for travel.
Excellent – I love, love, love this stroller. We bought it to take with us on holiday (on plane) and we're so happy with our purchase. This stroller looks great, is light and easy to steer with one hand, folds quickly and easily, has large basket which is unusual for a stroller (a little difficult to access when seat fully reclined but I have found whis with… Read more
all strollers so not a problem). My 7 1/2 mth old sleeps comfortably in this stroller and I have recommended it to everyone in my mother's group. I also love that I don't kick the wheels or underside of stroller when walking. - Very easy to steer with one hand
- Light and easy to fold
- Easy to alter recline
- Large basket for stroller Sun canopy a little flimsy but not worrying enough to stop me recommending it to all my friends!
Excellent – A great little shopping stroller. I have been pleasantly surprised by this little Valco; it has looks as well as being easy to steer - even one handed whilst dragging a preschooler by the hand through a crowded shopping centre at sales time. I had an overfull nappy bag hanging on the handles and without thinking took my daughter out of the… Read more
stroller and was surprised, pleasantly so, to find the stroller did not tip over backwards like others I have used. I definitely recommend this stroller to others. I love the look of this stroller; it is very modern in appearance. It has a good sized basket which is easy to access. The handles are comfortable to hold and are ergonomically positioned. The front wheels make this stroller very easy to steer. The seat is easy to recline. There are fold up sections to the hood so that even with the hood in use, children can still see out. The fold is nice and small, it is shorter than other umbrella style strollers. This stroller doesn't tip if you hang a nappy bag on the handles and then take your child out of the seat! I have found the harness to be very short; it is a tight fit around my daughters waist and she is only 15mths old. The stroller doesn't come with a rain cover so a generic one has to be used.
Good – After a great deal of research on prams and strollers, I'm really happy with this purchase. I'm using it as a lightweight, easy stroller option for my second child, and it works well for this purpose, around the shops etc, replacing our bigger, heavier pram on which we have a toddler seat. I have been using it for 6 months now, and always double… Read more
check the breaks - note another reviwers comments. It's ideal for shopping, travelling and brief walks, although I haven't used it on rougher surfaces, I wouldn't recommend it for this, as it is still a stroller. Having said that, it's a stroller with some great pram features. I'd highly recommend it. I love the fact this srtoller steers really well with one hand; great to fit in tight spots; it's lightweight but sturdy; its basket is quite large for a stroller; the recline mechanism is easy to use and comfy for baby; the sun shade provides quite a good canopy; and it can be used from a young age - they say suitable for newborn (I got it when my baby was only 2 months old and it was fine for him, although I added a pram liner for extra comfort). I realy wish it had a viewing window in the sun shade canopy, just to keep an eye on your baby. I also wish it came with a nappy/storage bag which hangs over the handles - it is hard to get access to the basket underneath when the seat is fully reclined. (I did purchase a suitable soft, collapsable bag online - it's made for the Quinny strollers but the dimensions are very similar and it works well for extra storage, although very basic - try googling for Quinny bags). I still use the straps on the smallest setting, so have noticed they are a little large for use with younger babies but pram liner helped with this.
Bad – I was very disappointed that this happened as everything else about the pram was what i was looking for and therefore i am not satisfied with the alternative stroller that i ended up purchasing but the brakes on it are fantastic and to me my babies safety when applying the brakes is paramount in a stoller. I would recommend that anyone… Read more
considering this stroller have it assembled in store and trial the brakes before you leave to avoid this happening. After months of research and auditioning strollers for the 2nd stroller spot in my boot i went to purchase the Valco Prism. I loved the bright red colour, the size when folded, the wide seat, large basket, and style. And most importantly the price Unfortunately i purchased one and before leaving the shop discovered the brakes were faulty which i am glad happened in the shop and not at a critical time when it was important for them to work. A replacement stroller was assembled and the same thing happened. The brake system is press one side with your foot and both sides should engage and then press the other side and they should disengage. This was not happening correctly one side would engage but not the other then they wouldn't disengage then neither would engage. After all this the salesperson offered for a rep to deliver another replacement to my house as there were no others left in stock but after 2 strollers having problems with the brakes i wasn't going to risk it. So we had it refunded and bought a totally different stroller.
