co-sleeping because it take little room in bed, I can see and reach to the baby easily. It also protects the baby from incident of co-sleeping.

OK – A good carrier, but quite short lived. I could probably have managed without this. However if baby was smaller it could have been used for longer. Very warm and cozy for winter. Can be used in a pram instead of buying an expensive bassinet for the pram. Can also be used as a sleeping place for baby when visiting friends houses. Baby quickly grew out of this, was only useful for 2-3 months.

my baby and he would startle himself awake - always just as I arrived home after a nice big walk! Using the cocoon over come this. The Valco Cocoon is a quality product which is well priced at about $85 and readily available at baby stores. The interior is very soft and it has a removable, hard base. It has straps to allow it to be clipped into a lay-back pram. There is a Velcro waist band to hold baby in securely. It comes in black with a cream interior or a red version. I worry when my baby's face gets too close to the soft edges, that he might suffocate in the soft fabric. I find that the Velcro waist band is too big for my newborn - I can't secure him in as tightly as I would like.

OK – a reasonable safe carrier for baby when 0-3mths, can be used in pram for added comfort or as a bed when going out...ide probably borrow or buy second hand as you dont get much use for the price soft and easy to carry cocoon that supports little one safely without your fear of them falling out. neatly on the floor and also in pram for added comfort and support. ideally used for children newborn to 3mths as we found our little ones grew too long after that. has safety clips on side to assist with fastening to side of pram. price is a little expensive $79 given you can only use until babe is around 3mths of age
