Construct of the bike feels solid and aesthetically pleasing
The cons: - The seat feels quite uncomfortable - The pedal assist motor feels underwhelming. It can come in with too much power, suddenly, and at other times, feels too slow to come on - The brakes are average. I think you'd be tempting fate if you rode this bike in wet weather especially on the supplied thin tyres - Lack of gears makes it somewhat boring, but hey, for $750 you cant ask for much - Riding without power assistance can be a real slog - Something I really find annoying is the big bold VALK logo on the battery. You feel like a riding billboard
Overall I think I got what I paid for. Would I recommend it? Probably not. Would I buy another e-bike. Yes, but I'd save to buy a branded product.

suspension. Brakes are pads but work well. The bike has been ridden mainly on concrete and ashphalt bike paths but also on shallow gravel trails to good effect. The bike is quite rideable even with the battery turned off or if it goes flat.This ebike has rejuvinated my interest in cycling and ive really loved exploring the many great bike trails around my hometown of melbourne australia.
