I have been doing much needed research on getting an implant for my tooth next to my front tooth. I have had three consultations and prices at three different dental centers. the center. My complaint is with the advertising of misleading information. The advertised price for an implant at this center was $3200.00. When you make an appointment for a consultation it is free which is very good. However they need an OPG Xray before they can assess whether you are eligible for an implant. This is $79.00 up front. Then on top of the $3200.00 there are added fees and procedures. Some are Bone graft $300, Provisional denture while waiting 4 months for the implant and crown to be completed is another $500. Plus a surgical guide per arch which was charged on the first visit of $99.00. All together my one implant which I thought was going to cost $3200.00 was going to cost me $5073.00.
With Value Dental Center you also need to become a member to access the service for $79.00. When I asked about this membership, I was told it was a requirement, due to keeping their costs lower than other dental places. I then advised the friendly receptionist that I had a cheaper quote from another dentist of $4100.00. She didn't really have an answer for me.
The first dental clinic I went to advertised a price of $2780.00 for one implant and crown. At the end of the consultation the price was going to end up as $4100.00. So this seems to be normal practice and procedure in dental advertising.
This review is written for other would be customers to be aware of all added costs above the advertised cost for an implant before you make an appointment. This should be made clear at the advertising stage. Thank you
I had to get a cracked tooth removed, a bone graft and then an implant and crown. My Value Dental dentist was amazing, very professional and talked me through the whole procedure, which took almost 12 months. Disgraceful Customer Service! – First, $100 joining fee. Advertised $3,000 implants. After fixing a fallen crown which was paid, went for an X-ray for the implant. Anxious about dental treatment ; don’t come here – Another dentist said that they have a 48 he cancelation period, maybe I canceled just under that time. again procedure date I was told by dentist. No I don’t want to do your procedure. I was sent packing with a box of temporary piece cost nearly 4K. That I was told by Dentist’, Allen can be used, elsewhere ; why I took them, when asked if I wanted them . I asked, ‘will other dental clinics utilise these pieces , seeing as your not , “Yes, Possibly “ he stated me. In fact “no one uses these. ” Seems to be quite inferior parts, materials used I don’t know, One clinic stating they , use, German made titanium screws ; others said they’re not compatible. I stated from the get go, I’ve had bad experiences, quite unpleasant unprofessional work carried out, both in private & public, dental system . Thus I get anxious at dentists , apologising for cancelling my appointment , explaining , I had a panic attack of sorts. ; no room for that kind here; means nothing to them . Best spent a tad more, visit dental surgeon who has a lengthy track record of carrying out implant procedures. They state experienced dealing with anxious patients . Utilising all necessary products , happy gas, a cannula; making a 2 hr procedure feel like 2 minute. A clinic, that has stood the tests of time , money well spent .
. In hindsight possibly, short, some initial prior bone grafting , to reduce the need of such, positioning the depth ,& angle of thankfully, now former- proposed implant screws . Possibly it would have been prudent to have got a 2nd 3rd or 4th opinion, on the safest, optimal way to carry out the procedure; not merely the cheapest way.
Great value for a smile makeover – Had 10 crowns done - fantastic result at a great price. So happy that I have gone back to get an implant done on the bottom jaw.
Exceptional – From the moment I walked In with the lovely front of house team to getting my crown fitted was flawless they were wonderful

service in Southport who told me that I needed 4 crowns and the quote was four times that of Value Dental. There was virtually no difference in the equipment used. My Value Dentist obviously had lots of experience and combined that with a gentle, deft touch.
The reception staff were friendly, courteous and efficient.
Today 24 hours later I am very happy to be able to say that the process was painless and I have no pain or discomfort, an even bite and good cosmetic result.
