where a dentist provides over treatment and suggests work that is not genuinely required. Was suggested to get three fillings - these were not required. After seeking a second opinion, only one filling was required, and surprisingly, was not on any of the teeth they had suggested.
They also referred me to an oral surgeon who was clearly giving them kickbacks with the absolute absurd prices they quoted for a simple wisdom tooth removal.
Will not return and have taken our business elsewhere. Avoid at any possible cost.

go with Smileflex because their thickest option will last few years without having to change every six months as long as I maintain regular cleaning. It was a big investment in the beginning but would be cheaper in the long run than getting a new pair every six months. The process was simple and within few days after receiving my impression, they already mailed the retainer. I was very impressed because the previous aligner company usually took 3 weeks. When it came, the retainer was so comfortable and fit like a glove. It doesn’t feel tight, it doesn’t poke into the gum or create tongue ulcer from brushing against the sharp thin retainer like the previous company retainer. I was worried the thicker retainer would be uncomfortable to wear at night, but it was so much more comfortable! I am so glad to choose Smileflex, will definitely go to them everytime I need to order new sets of retainer.

(only 10 aligners) my bite was still open. Bitcoin claim that they were restricted by what they could do due to the condition some gum recession yet failed to disclose this to me before taking $4,100+ for 10 aligners. Their website advertises 10 aligners $2,799.
During my post treatment discussion with them it was obvious that they had no intention of providing the service that I paid for and despite requests to continue with the treatment until it's completed or provide a refund so I could go elsewhere, Bitesoft or Alto as they call themselves now have refused.
If there are any limitations regarding the service these people can provide don't expect them to tell you prior to parting with you money.
I lodged a claim with my payment provider which I settled for a certain amount for expediency. I will be lodging an application with Consumer affairs to recover the balance from Bitesoft.
Do not recommend at all. Stay away.
Post treatment photo and report I obtained myself attached. Suffice to say the post treatment result feels worse than what I began with.

Orthodontics. I will stick to documented facts and correspondence. Marketing and direct involvement . When my daughter started treatment in 2023, the practice’s website and marketing focused almost entirely on [Name Removed] as a world‑renowned specialist. Based on that presentation, we believed that [Name Removed] would personally see our daughter for at least some follow‑up appointments. In reality, after the initial consultation, she never received any treatment from [Name Removed] – all care was delivered by associates. Promise of seamless transfer to the UK . In July 2025, our family relocated to the UK. A practice representative ([Name Removed]) told us that [Name Removed] had recommended a UK colleague, [Name Removed], and that we should contact her for emergency assistance. On 5 November 2025, the practice explicitly suggested transferring the remainder of my daughter’s care to [Name Removed] if the relocation was long‑term, and assured us that fees would be handled seamlessly with no additional cost to us. Relying on that assurance, we transferred care. The UK practitioner knew nothing about fee transfer When we received the first bill from [Name Removed] (who is a highly professional and excellent orthodontist), I mentioned that all fees were supposed to be transferred from Full Face Orthodontics. [Name Removed] told us she knew nothing about any fee transfer arrangement. Misrepresentation to [Name Removed]. Before we had even received [Name Removed]’s quote, Full Face Orthodontics contacted her and falsely stated that we were “unhappy with her fees and may go elsewhere”. This forced [Name Removed] to reduce her fees by approximately one‑third to retain the case. Inadequate reimbursement The practice later offered only AUD 2,995 (approx. £1,500) for the undelivered portion of treatment. The actual cost we had to pay in the UK to complete the treatment was £3,900 – more than double their offer. Owner’s responsibility [Name Removed] travels to the UK frequently, lectures here, and maintains UK registration. He knows the UK orthodontic market well. When his staff advise patients, promise seamless fee transfers, and make representations about continuity of care, he remains responsible as the owner and principal of the practice. Staff acted on his behalf. Website change The practice has since substantially revised its website. The 2023 version gave little prominence to associates; the current version now lists many clinicians and describes [Name Removed]’s role more modestly. I have raised these issues with the practice directly. They refused to honour the original promise. I am now pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal and professional channels. This review is based on the documented correspondence and events that took place.

Budderim/Maroochdore Qld operation for 11/1/25. I went online the NEXT day on 2/1/25 to cancel both bookings. I received a confirmation of both cancellations via email. They IMMEDIATELY charged my credit card the total cost of $500.
I have tried to call repeatedly their 1300# (5 times) with no answer. I also sent an email as well as using their “chatbot” on their website. I forwarded a screenshot of the cancellation confirmation received by them via email.
It is illegal to take payment for service/s that have NOT been provided.
It is illegal to take full payment 10 days before service without consent or notification to the consumer.
I now have to waste time going to my bank/credit card provider to claim fraudulent transaction.

have my carer/advocate with me so I was in an extremely high state of stress (bordering on a meltdown) and unable to make an informed decision to proceed while awake. I felt pressured to make the decision right then and there to go ahead with the procedure or re-book, even though I couldn't communicate my internal distress and so I continued with the procedure in an environment that exceeded my sensory limits. The dentist then made a remark comparing me to other Autistic patients who 'manage just fine' which made me feel like he was shaming me for a physiological response I can't control and invalidating my sensory issues. This comment pushed me over the edge and I had a meltdown that lasted days. Under healthcare standards, practitioners have a duty to provide "person-centered care." Comparing one patient to another to shame them is a breach of that standard and a form of medical gaslighting. When I was asked weeks later by receptionist if the dentist could call me about my 1 star Google review, I immediately took it down as I felt incredibly intimidated knowing the scrutiny would be on me to justify and explain why my experience and distress was valid enough to give them a 1 star. I didn't get that phone call which I assume is either because the intimidation worked and the review disappeared, or hopefully because they realised that this was ethically and morally not a very good idea on their part when communication in person or on phone is distressing enough for me without feeling like I'm being attacked for my opinion. If the dentist was truly confused about why they were accused of gaslighting, they don't need a phone call with me—they need professional development. I have decided to explain that review in the hope that there is some professional reflection on my feedback to improve communication and practice with ASD patients moving forward.
