Vapiano

The food is great (they make their own pasta on-site), and the staff are friendly. However, everything else is slack. 1. Surcharges are not displayed prominently. We need to see the amount including surcharge before we tap. Saying "surcharges may apply" in small print is not sufficient! ACL requires the surcharge to be displayed as prominently as the most prominent price. Show the amount and show it in a prominent font! We need to know if the surcharge is different via different payment methods.

2. Phone number format. Got the error "Does not match pattern" when trying to sign in on the App. No where did it say you need to start with 61 country code.

3. We were not offered menus.

4. The Wi-Fi required a password, which was not offered. And 4G mobile data was excruciating slow as we were inside a building. The Wi-Fi password should be on the table signs.

5. No tax invoice. We were not offered a paper nor electronic Tax Invoice.

6. Split bill was good.

7. We were not asked for my membership number to get Vapiano rewards.

8. When we scanned the QR code on the table we got http 404 not found.

Nothing to get excited about – The restaurant was really cool inside we asked a couple of times to turn up the heating but nothing changed. The pasta dish I had was really salty and should not have been considering the ingredients. I ordered a glass of wine and it was left sitting on the bar and had to collect it myself . They were not overly busy. Our finished plates were still on the tables when we left so didn't have a chance to mention the pasta dish. Would not go back to this restaurant
