Worst vacuum – Purchased atBunnings 3 months ago, have persevered with it,pulled it apart thinking something maybe blocked. It's terrible doesn't look like I've vacuumed, my everyday battery operated vac does a better job, very noisey heavy to push. Am going to cut my losses chuck it in the bin. Am very disappointed.  Show details

Not great – I've only had my Vax for a couple weeks I have carpet and floorboards and while it's fairly good on the carpet it's crap on the floorboards and gets blocked easily and doesn't even look like I vacuumed. I have a Siberian husky a Samoyed and 5 kids so I need a good reliable vacuum and being a pet vacuum, I thought it would be great but it's not.  Show details

Great Vacuum for cat/pet hair – This is a great vacuum. With its moving brushes and powerful suction, it rips the pet hair and dirt right out of the carpet. We've only had a cheap piranha previously and this thing makes the carpet spotless. The turbo tool attachment is great for doing lounges and hard to reach places. Its rotating brushes are air powered but it works… Read more

beautifully. Its easy to empty the dust collection cylinder and clean out.

Negatives are its heavy, loud and not being such a nimble unit, hard to get into smaller gaps if you have a lot of furniture. Anyway this vacuum is great for our house and im extremely impressed.

Vac - Amazing! – This is a great vacuum cleaner, it picks up pet hair and I am amazed at the amount of dust and fluff in the container after just a few minutes. The whole thing comes apart and all bits are washable. ( No horrid dust bags) Whilst it is quite heavy and it is a bit noisy it does an incredible job.

Value for money – Only purchased this today. I was going to save up for a top of the range machine, but needed one asap. After doing some research I found that this vac had a good air watt rating and even though it is heavier than some of its competitors it has a much larger collection bin. The pet hair tool was also a factor in my decision. I have been relying… Read more

on my older hoover 3 in 1 jet and my aldi robo vac to keep the carpets clean, which visually do a good job (the robo vac collects alot of dust), however after using the vax once I am very glad that I purchased it today! After 4 smallish sized carpeted areas the 4 liter bin was full!

I found that the machine is just a noisy as my parents older volta (upright powerhead, 20yrs old), but does a better job. The tools fell off a few times so I will only store the pet brush on the machine and put the others in the cupboard.

Definitely did a great job considering the low price tag of $199!

Pros:

- big capacity bin

- good suction

- price

- ability to get up all dog fur

Cons:

- Noisy

- Heavy

- tools fall off

Vax 2000 watt upright vacuum – I bought from Bunnings 12 months ago, why I bought the vax is that in 1992 I bought a vax wet dry barrel vacuum that still works today. This vacuum although heavy has been realise and the suction is very strong. If I was younger without any shoulder issues I would buy it again, but for anyone with injuries or the older person it really is too… Read more

heavy to vacuum and manoeuvre. Unfortunately I will have to replace it with another upright with a movable head and lighter vacuum. But, don't disregard this vacuum it is very strong and powerful over carpets, tlies and wooden floating floors.

Easy to use and looks great – We got this vacuum only about 1-2 month ago, i really like the ease of use and the suction. The swivel is really good however can be a bit hard to get into tight spaces. Love the fact that you can remove the handle to get into high spaces and the rubber wheels are great on our floorboards. Ease of use small dirt holder Show reply
