Vee Rubber

Admirable performer – Ok, several people and discussions tried to steer me away from this tyre brand. So called real bikers, saying things like, only suitable for kids and fools. Well the real fools it turns out are them. I will admit that I was hesitant, purely because of the price being so cheap. However after doing my own research to discover that Vee rubber is a Thailand company, and have been made since the 70s, now Thailand has a lot of motorcycles right. A lot of wet weather and poor road conditions. Only stands to reason they know how to make a reasonable tyre. Apart from that, I purchased a set of Vee rubber, even after the retail mechanic told me to be careful. The jokes on them, the tyres have out performed my expectations, sticking to the road well in wet and dry normal road riding. Have given me a far better and smoother ride than the previous Michelin expensive tyres I had previously used. They do have a different profile in terms of height, slighty higher even with the same tyre numbers, so take this into account in terms of mud gaurd clearance. Now I will say the tread pattern is not quite as deep as some, however the tyre is really very very good. Given the cost of everything is so expensive in these times, Vee rubber produce a fabulous product for almost half the cost of its competitors. It has performed admirably. Just for some context, I've been a motorcycle rider for 40 years in normal road riding, I rarely even own a car, so I guess I should understand how my tyres should perform. To the naysayers, get over yourself lol.
