Order was supposed to be for Monday, got a message five days prior to this to say ‘they’re on the way” and would be arriving on the Tuesday! Emailed (5 times) and left one message on phone to cancel order as I would not be available on the Tuesday. No reply still and have just received text message to say order is arriving tomorrow (Tuesday) . Awful company with false promises !

however it clearly wasn't, as we were charged again for the following week's order.
Since then, we have continued trying to contact the team and have sent multiple follow-up emails with little to no response. What should have been a simple request has turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience.
Mistakes happen, but charging customers after confirming a cancellation or pause has been processed, then failing to communicate when the issue is raised, is not acceptable.
It's a shame because the product itself is good, but customer service is just as important. Unfortunately, this experience has left us feeling ignored and undervalued as customers.

Awesome meals and awesome service. I emailed them to ask them to upgrade the size of the meals and they did it... for free. They also chucked in a few meals for free. Had the first lot last week and they were 100% worth it. Great food and great service Show details
The first meal was delicious but the others were terrible. I sent an email & gave my feedback. No reply. Their claim " love it or its free" certainly not the case. No Customer Service. Don't recommend them at all.
Follow-up · First meal was a beef & vegies . Beef was so tender. 2nd meal was fish with a sauce. It was totally tasteless & like rubber. 3rd meal was supposed to be butter chicken and rice. Didn't taste anything like butter chicken. It was horrible.

in the regular size and vice versa with some of the regular sized meals coming in XL size. Not the worst thing to happen but also very annoying as my wife and I ordered different sizes for different reasons. Emailed them some feedback and heard nothing back.
Week2: 10x regular size and 10x XL sized meals. This order was a complete balls up. Almost nothing was correct from the dish type to the size. We had 5 extra meals arrive and all were the same dish which neither of us would've eaten so a complete waste. Many of the meals wrong size or not to order.
As far as the food quality goes, very hit and miss. Some meals quite tasty however others completely tasteless, all lacked any seasoning. For the price I could forgive the taste inconsistencies from one meal to the next however getting both orders so very wrong 2 weeks in a row is inexcusable. No response after contacting them twice. No phone number and the email/contact form seems to go completely unanswered.
Unfortunately won't be ordering again.

ordered 6 meals and received 7. Why am I complaining about that? Well, that would be because two of them were meals I hadn't ordered and don't like (Thai Green Chicken Curry) and one of the meals I had ordered (Thai Satay Chicken With Peanut Sauce) was missing. I reached out to Verve Food Co. to fix this issue but I wasn't able to talk to anyone. Apparently they don't employ people to speak with their customers so I had to use their 'AI-enabled automation' to open a ticket. During this process I was asked if I'd received a substitution card in my order (I hadn't) so I'm guessing this happens quite a bit. I was then told someone would get back to me within a day . That didn't happen and three days later I'm still waiting for them to contact me about my issues.
What about the food? Well, in my opinion the meals (so far) have been very ordinary. There's certainly nothing creamy about their 'Creamy Chicken Boscaiola. It was under seasoned, had too much pasta, a few bits of chicken, two little pieces of mushroom and there wasn't a drop of sauce to be seen or tasted. (see pic). Like the Boscaiola, the Green Chicken Curry (which my poor Mother tried) was bone dry. It was mostly rice with a couple of pieces of chicken and was so hot it nearly blew her head off. I think that was because it contained what looked like whole green chilies. (see pic). Something I also find very odd is that the two fish meals I ordered were described as "Baked Dory" on their website, but labelled as just 'Baked fish' when they arrived (see pic). To be honest I'm not overly enthusiastic about eating the other meals I ordered but will give them a go.
I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend Verve Food Co. to anyone, however that's not to say their meals wouldn't appeal to others. At the end of the day, we're all different and have different tastes! This review is just my honest opinion and is based on my own personal experience.
EDIT: After waiting 5 days I had to contact Verve Food Co. again, this time via email. Their response was very quick and friendly so perhaps their AI system glitched when I initially contacted them. They assured me I'd be refunded for any meals I wasn't satisfied with which impressed me. Unfortunately at this rate, they'll probably be refunding me for all of them because the last meal I tried was really, really awful ( see pics of bone dry Mongolian Chicken re-heated as per instructions). That's 3 fails out of 6 so far so the rest aren't looking very promising at all.
