Crap food – I tasted the cottage pie on Tuesday 5th March 2024. It felt processed and lacked in taste. I did not enjoy the meal at all
Absolutely disgusting meal!!! Is this a bunch of Appalachian mountain people cooking these meals with 'what's at ha – Disgusting Dogs and cat wouldn't eat it either. Disappointed beyond belief
Chicken Parma sub absolute garbage – I purchased a Chicken and parmigiana sub from Woolworths. The instructions say 2 1/2 minutes on high. That's great if you want it still totally frozen. I put it in a 1000 watt micro wave on high. I had to put it back for almost 5 minutes before it was cooked and hot. This then led to the roll being hard as a rock and totally uneatable. chicken was bland as was the tomato sauce This was a complete waste of money and a terrible product. Will never buy it again and you need to take 2 1/2 minutes of it because there is no way that is sufficient with any microwave. Contacted the company and they didn't have the decency to even reply.
A very good pie! – I’ve been eating pies for sixty years and I’m pretty fussy about them. It was a definite buy again proposition. Not exactly like the packet picture but better than most.
Beef & Ale Loaded Pot Pie is absolute slop, with no meat sighted – I purchased a Beef & Ale Loaded Pot Pie distributed by Vesco Pty Ltd, Western Australia, from my local Coles Supermarket to have for dinner. The photo of the pie reflected nice chunks of meat and vegetables, and being a fan of a good Beef & Guinness Pie, I thought I would give it a go. I baked this pie in the oven for 55 minutes as suggested on… Read more
the packaging. When heated (cooked) I turned it out onto a dinner plate, only to find it was absolute slop! A pureed mass of carbohydrate none the less, and I could not sight one piece of meat. Vesco Pty Ltd should hang their heads in shame by dishing up such a dreadful, un-nutritious meal. The only decent part of the pie was the pastry. I have added the packing, but I cannot add the photo of the pie on my plate, as this review only allows one photo to be attached. Shame, as the photo exactly depicts the slop that I mention. My advice! Don't even bother buying this product! It is pure slop, that I would not even dish up to any dog, or cat.
Taste good but – I will never buy this again all it was is pasta sheets and sauce with very minimal meat ,sometimes when you work 20hrs and you need more than pasta sheets and sauce .I have made lasagne before and a serving this size would have filled me ,very disappointing
Absolute rubbish and falsely labeled – Pub Favourites, Lamb Cutlet. What lamb cutlet. It appears to be made up of some 50 items, but not a lamb cutlet insight. Pub favoutite, you couldn't give this away in a pub.
Yuck!!!! – *******0 stars******* Purchased a Wellness Bowl Super Nut Satay Chicken as it sounded nice and the photo on the packaging looked good. Boy was I wrong. I have never tried these meals before and NEVER AGAIN. It was disgusting slop and is now in the bin. I was telling my daughter that I had bought it. She is interstate and asked me to send a… Read more
photo of the packaging, which I did. She said she would like to try it UNTIL I sent a photo of the real thing. She was horrified. How can you get away with calling this food? I came across 3 tiny pieces of 'chicken' supposedly. Who knows what it was and the rest was revolting mush. Making me feel sick thinking about it. Steer clear of this crap.
Tofu Mi Goring with Green Tea Noodles – The overall product was great my only negative comment was the fried tofu it was very hard & had not taken on any of the flavour in the sauce. I will check other Super Nature meals in the vegan range.
Terrible! – My wife was ill, so I was lazy enough In these covid-ridden dine-at-home days to buy a couple of frozen dinners, “pub favourites” Beef Rissoles. No words of mine could describe how bad these meals were. Semi-liquid mashed potato, rubbery (and small!) meat rissoles, peas and carrot, topped off with a minimal amount of poor quality gravy. Disgusting.
Very tasty affordable meals – "On the menu" is a fantastic range of frozen foods available at supermarkets. There is a great range of meals in different sizes and prices. They are regularly on "half price special" which is also extremely good for the budget conscious. This is an Australian company using Australian ingredients, nutrition information is supplied for anyone on… Read more
special diets to check. They are "real meals" not just something mixed with sauce rice/noodles. I am not a great fan of frozen foods but I do find these foods to be particularly tasty and full filling. I don't end up giving them to my dogs!
