The overall sentiment for Dineamic is highly positive, with many users considering it superior to other ready-made meal services due to its "homemade" taste and high-quality ingredients. The service is particularly valued by those with specific dietary requirements, such as low FODMAP or gluten-free, and by NDIS/Home Care participants. While the food quality is widely praised, there are recurring frustrations regarding difficult packaging and occasionally inconsistent portion sizes for meat and vegetables.
Pros
- Superior Flavour and Freshness: Meals are frequently described as tasting like real, homemade food rather than processed or frozen alternatives, with particular praise for the "tender" meat and fresh vegetables.
- Dietary Specialisation: Users highly value the extensive and certified low FODMAP, gluten-free, and high-protein ranges, which are often difficult to find through other providers.
- Sustainable Packaging: The use of recyclable cardboard trays and the carbon-offset initiative are major highlights for environmentally conscious consumers.
- Reliable Delivery and Service: Most users report prompt deliveries with accurate tracking, effective cooling (gel packs), and helpful customer support when issues arise.
Cons
- Difficult Packaging: A significant number of users report that the plastic film is extremely difficult to peel off after heating, occasionally resulting in steam burns or requiring scissors to open.
- Inconsistent Portions: Several reviews mention a "scarcity of meat" in certain stews or an over-reliance on "fillers" like potato, rice, or pasta in specific dishes.
- Website and Ordering Friction: Some users find the website clunky, particularly when trying to amend subscription orders, change delivery dates, or navigate the ordering process for the first time.
- High Delivery Fees: The $15 delivery fee is a recurring point of contention, especially for those who cannot find the specialised low FODMAP range in local supermarkets.
Verdict
Dineamic is an excellent choice for consumers seeking high-quality, nutritious ready meals that bypass the "processed" taste common in the industry. It is a standout provider for those managing dietary restrictions like IBS or gluten intolerance, though customers should be prepared for minor packaging frustrations and a slightly higher price point.
Mostly decent food with two big issues: 1) The meals expired mostly within two weeks, which is not enough time to eat them all (hence I was forced to freeze some), and 2) some were quite bad tasting particularly the pad thai and maple pork, which I couldn’t finish. Convenient but pricey. I might get a second box. Show details · 1
Over the years I have eaten many different frozen meals. So far it has been 3 out of 3 for flavour, meal portion. Although the product is dearer than its competitors, it is a winner with me. Show details

Delicious food, great prompt, customer service, I have just started the low FODMAP diet and this has been so wonderful, the FODMAP meals are absolutely delicious, especially the chicken risotto is so good!! yum!! Show details
Dineamic has been the easiest and most affordable meal plan provider for people with disabilities, like myself, who also require a Low FODMAP diet, but don't have the enough executive function ability to do it ourselves. The order process and ability to choose the order frequency is simple, hassle free and easy to set up. They are great fresh and… Read more
just as good from frozen as well and I keep a small stock of their meals in my freezer for when I am incapable of cooking for myself.
I was using another food delivery service on weekly order and payments but liked the idea of eating organic produce so gave dineamic a try. I was drawn to the choice of delivery, I get paid fortnightly so fortnightly deliveries suit me much better. I love the variety, the packaging and convenience but most of all the taste! The chefs have nailed… Read more
it, full of flavour that leaves you wanting more but still enough to satisfy the appetite. I'm converted.
As sole carer for my wife, who was diagnosed with a cognitive disease 14 years ago, owing to the increasing demands on my time of late owing to a decline in her condition, I was struggling to provide adequate dinners for her. As she is a NDIS participant, around nine months ago, I finally availed myself of the NDIS discounted meal preparation… Read more · 2
support option available to her, choosing Dineamic from the providers approved to provide this service. I am so glad I did. I ordered 14 different meals (based largely on Dineamic's list of their most popular ones) and chose fortnightly delivery. My wife is over the moon with how delicious the meals are, while I am impressed with their nutritional value, freshness and of course the four minute preparation time. Also outstanding is Dineamic's delivery service - always on time and with meals packaged to maintain a chilled state (even if not immediately collected from the front porch). To top this off, the Dineamic customer service staff I have dealt with over the phone are an absolute delight, especially when providing advice and assistance with the first couple of orders, while also demonstrating admirable patience when helping this "old technophobe" negotiate their online ordering platform (which works fine by the way). Definitely a five-star operation and this happy customer certainly recommends Dineamic to anyone considering a home delivered ready meals service. PS. Not wishing to freeze the meals, I even repaired and modified an old fridge to store up to 28 meals at near-freezing temperatures (see photo). This at times enabled me to extend meal consumption well beyond 'use by' dates without issue - that's certainly testament to how fresh they are on delivery!
✨ Your food choices, macros, flavour… everything was an absolute 100/100! ✨ Not a single disappointment. Every meal has been so filling, delicious and satisfying. I’ll definitely keep ordering, just having fun trying different companies too! But these meals have honestly been amazing. Show details · 1
We found the meals very tasty & such a large variety we really enjoyed eating them & was a good size meal for us Show details · 1
I’ve tried a few different ‘ready meal‘ brands and I found Dineamic to be quite good for a few reasons. 1. Quality: The food tastes like real food. I don‘t know how to describe it other then it tastes like something i’d cook in my own kitchen. It won‘t blow your mind in terms of taste, but it genuinely feels like a well balanced and fresh meal.… Read more · 1
Cooked with real ingredients and without artificial flavour enhancers or addictive seasoning (salt, sugar). Their slogan is ‚made honest‘ and yeah, it makes sense to me. Five Stars.
2. Protein: I really like their ‘Meals for Two’ option. It comes without a side (such as rice) and provides two servings (for example, the Massaman curry). As a male athlete, I need significantly more protein than 30g per meal, so having a higher-protein option is great- I usually eat both servings (which is around 50-60g of protein). I hope they expand their range of high-protein meals in the future, especially for those aiming for around 160–200g of protein per day.
3. Website & Price: I find it easy to navigate and order stuff. The subscription model works well. The price is also quite competitive if you buy in bulk + have a subscription.
4. Verity: I’m currently eating almost exclusively Dineamic meals for weight maintenance and muscle gain. So far most of their food tasted good me and it’s nice to have different options. I wasn’t a bit fan of the lemongrass chicken to be honest but I that’s okay.
Weight loss (or maintenance), muscle gain, food tracking .. it can be hard to be consistent - I’m glad that I’ve found a good food provider that doesn’t seem to cut significant corners when it comes to the quality of their meals. Everything tastes fresh & well thought out.
Keep it up team Dineamic!
My Wife, who is my carer, ordered these for me. The flavours are great! So fresh! Whilst the meals look small when they arrive because they are vacuum packed, there is plenty for the meal. I love them! Show details · 1

I ordered two of the Low FODMAP bundles. They were timely in delivery and the presentation allowed me to see each one without having to remove extensive packaging. So far, each meal has been delicious and tastes fresh. I have Type 1 Diabetes as well as having to eat low FODMAP and these meals have made my menu planning for the week so much easier… Read more · 1
with one less thing to think about. The meals support better diabetes management and overall gut health!
So far we have tried 5 meals, four of which were brilliant and the other was ok, but not one we'd get again since the others were so good. I was concerned they might not be big enough, but they are filling and we have been satisfied with all five in that regard. They are so much nicer than the frozen meals from other suppliers. We will be regulars. Show details · 1
Have enjoyed the meals so far. Tasty and filling, great price point and convenient. Loved the tomato gnocchi. Still have three to go, a decent amount of time on the used by dates, so have heated all from the fridge (not frozen). Have only tried the vegetarian bundle. The green falafel was filling and flavoursome. I’ve recommended to my friends to try it out. I would order again, when required. Very convenient for me when it’s a busy week. Show details · 2

The only reason I have stopped delivery of your meals is I’m going away for awhile. Enjoy the meals that I have received and will start them up again when I return. There was more than enough to fill me up and not look for something else to eat. Show details · 1
Follow-up · The meals arrived well packaged and kept cool during the trip. Very easy to order and you can keep the same order for the following weeks if you wish or you can go in and change them, very easy to do. Have great selection of meals to choose from, nearly every nationally covered. Would highly recommend
Not able to comment on the food or the qualuty yet as I haven't tried any meals but the delivery was prompt and on time Show details · 1
Follow-up · I was a little disappointed that I couldn't place my order yesterday (Saturday) due to the call being out of business hours, surely a business could have a message service installed for such a situation. I tried placing my oder online but the site would not allow me to choose a delivery date and time (none available).
I have many allergies and it's hard to find good food already made that I can eat. Dineamic meals taste fantastic, turn up on time and are value for money. The one time there was a problem (with the packing) they were quick to replace the meal at no expense to me. I recommend them and give 5 stars. Show details · 1
Follow-up · Answering some questions.. My allergies are Gluten, dairy, sugar and anything from the onion and garlic family. The packing problem was that the cold wrap inside the box hadn't been closed so the food warmed up. I'm not trying to lose weight, I'm just tired of eating my own cooking. I still use and recommend dineamic and no I'm not getting paid or anything.

I've tried a few pre-packaged meals and so far these are the best. Having eaten four of the ten Low FODMAP meals I bought, I found the quality of the food to be generally good however two of the four didn't meet the FODMAP standard in my opinion.… Read more
The Free Range Sweet & Sour Pork contained red capsicum and the Free Range Smokey Chicken had black beans neither of which should be in a low FODMAP diet. The low FODMAP Beef Bolognese and the Grass Fed Slow Cooked Beef however were both excellent and filling.
The down side is the amount of waste eg the large cardboard carton the meals were delivered in, the two huge ice packs which were in the carton, and the plastic film around each meal. I asked if the cartons and ice packs could be returned with the next order but the answer was "no throw them out with the rubbish or recycling". They suggested re-using the ice packs but how many large ice packs can one use?
Living on my own, this is a convenient way of preparing nutritious meals or to have as a back up when I don't feel like cooking so I will order more once I've worked out which ones I like the best.
Follow-up · Change of heart - I liked the sound of pre-prepared meals but in reality, I can prepare a better meal for a fraction of the cost. Also the cardboard containers had plastic film lining them which had to be removed before recycling. So my meal was in plastic after all. Sorry Dineamic, I won't be buying any more.
Ordered once from Dineamic. Normally order from Lite N easy so this is a comparison review. Firstly the meals from Dineamic are far better for taste and flavour. The selections are closer to what you'd expect from a restaurant rather than the frozen section at coles like LNE. The only negative compared to LNE is the quantity. The portion sizes… Read more
are smaller by comparison which is a negative as you you will want more! Another positive of Dineamic is delivery as they deliver 6 days a week instead of LNE's 4 days and never on a weekend. LNE ships in a reusable foam eski the driver collects on delivery. Frozen items are kept cold with a bag of dry ice which can cause cold burns on bare skin. Dry ice is often used to burn warts and things off skin. Dineamic uses a water based gel which is biodegradable. One it thaws, you tip it down the sink and throw all packaging into the recycle. I feel that LNE is greener as the foam eski is reused, but Dineamic is safer.
Overall we enjoyed the Dineamic over LNE's though we where left a little hungry, used to LNE's larger portions.
The food is really good. My fave this week has been the Classic Spaghetti Bolognese with Parmesan Cheese. I added some baby spinach and it was a really delicious meal. The Tender Beef Fillet with Pepper Sauce Roasted Chat Potatoes and Green Beans was also super yummy but a bit too peppery - it did take over the dish, but I still really loved it… Read more · 1
and the potatoes were so tender and perfect. The Ginger Lime Fish Curry with Broccoli & Brown Rice was tasty and flavoursome and if there was a light sauce that would elevate it as it was a litre dry as is - again I still loved it and have ordered it again! The sizes of the meals - 360g for the ones I picked - is an excellent portion; I stopped ordering a competitor’s food as it was yummy but servings were often 300-320g which is too small for dinner. I love the cardboard containers the meals come in, with the plastic lining which you remove after serving so you can recycle the cardboard. The prices are good if you get a discount, but bit much on a weekly basis otherwise when you add delivery too. Overall it’s a good meal service which offers delicious food, good-size portions, and has delivery options for both overnight and daytime.

If I could give them 10/5 I would. Home cooking so nourishing it nearly made me cry. Portions are just right. Lots of veggies too which is missing from most value prepared meals. blessing. Thank you Dineamic and thank you NDIS. Now the real progress can begin because I am not just energised and satiated but strangely, loved. How do you do that- lol. My only adverse comment would be that chicken breast does not reheat well as it is essentially cooking it again so it dries out. I know you want to use the best ingredients and I aporeciate that more than you can imagine but chicken thigh - cooked with the bone in and removed before serving retains its moisture, texture and flavour much better than breast.
