Quality just not there anymore – First and last time I buy a Victa. Lasted 5 years and wasn't a cheap mower. I replaced the oil every 12 months with new Briggs and Stratton SAE 30 and a new spark plug RC12YC. it had so much blow-by. Very disappointed on those newer 625 EXI and 725 EXI engine's they are absolutely terrible quality and engineering, the engine shook and rattled from day 1 and had a very loose crank shaft bearing clearance issue. I bought a cheap $200 Chinese Sprinter mower also made by Victa unfortunately from Bunnings today to replace it and it cuts through thicker grass much easier than this paperweight ever did. Never again will I trust a Victa, they are not made in Australia any longer and it shows in real world use.
