showed me and I bought some thinner cord to see if that helped. Reloaded and tried to start it up and found the rip cord wouldnt retract. I was very frustrate as it was it's second start up and I had just been back to the store. I took the whipper snipper back and asked for exchange as I shouldn't be having problems after 2 uses. They informed that Victa do not exchange and ask you to take it to a service centre. The clostest to me was a 20min drive so I took it there and no surprise but they said it will be a 6 week wait. This is very unsatisfactory and frustrating but Victa refuse to warrant their products any other way. I strongly advise not to buy anything made by Victa as they do not stand by their product. If I had bought another brand it would have been refunded.
