Love this – I got this after my old one stopped working and I have to say that it is really good and good price to, would highly recommend this product. love it. This hair dryer will dry your hair very quickly.

Not very powerful – This hairdryer is good in every other way in that it is easy to use and lightweight but it just simply isn’t powerful enough to dry my hair very effectively. I thought that something named ‘Turbo’ would be good but sadly no. It is not much better than a hotel room hair dryer.

Poor quality – I used this hair dryer for some time and wire was broken from the connecting plug which I did not see and sparked with fire when trying to use it. I almost electrified due to this poor quality product.

Great Product – Easy to use, after 4 years or still works. Great design and sleek style. Normal setting speeds from 1 -3 and Turbo option with cool air or heating option. For an affordable product it has been well worth it.

Great – Perfect hair drye and dries my hair really good. I love the heat & speed settings. I do love the turbo boost setting for even a quicker dry. Fair priced.

Not the best – I bought this hairdryer quite a while ago on sale, thinking it was a bargain. However, I found that it did a poor job of drying my hair, but it did get the job done. It also felt a bit too heavy at times.

Blown away – Having dropped and broken my other I went out for a mid range hair dryer. Wow this dried my hair so fast with ltitle frizz. Diffuser and concentrator attachment included work great. The sliding controls are well placed and the unit is easy to use and not overly heavy. I am so impressed with the time I'm saving drying my hair. Glad I broke my old one now.

Fair quality for a fair price – Bought this from myer on sale for around $40 which is a good price considering decent wattage (2200) and included diffuser. I previously had the salon professional and this one is much lighter than the longer black "sleek" vs sassoon dryers like milano etc. I would buy this again if it wasn't discontinued.

This is prefect – fair price, it can dry your hair quickly. it also has got turbo function. but it seem too much noise if your switch high output. it is a little bit heavy.

Very difficult hairdryer – I bought this hairdryer to replace an identical one which I had used for years and loved because it was so easy to use. This new model with the two sliding bars is difficult to use & never dries my hair properly. I've started letting my hair dry naturally.

Awful - awful - awful – Back in the box it goes back to Target for refund - worse I repeat worse hairdryer ever. Buttons confusing. Just terrible - very bad. Nearly ended up with burns. Awful experience!

Great price for quality product! – Bought dryer for $50 in Target thinking if not happy would return. Assistant explained features and thought sounded fine. Was pleasantly surprised. Worked out how sliding buttons determine temperature and air flow and used quite successfully. Product is well weighted, attractive to look at, doesn't overheat and does excellent job drying hair.… Read more ·  4

Considering hairdresser had model costing $180, thinking have done very well for price. Hard for me to reconcile all previously listed comments about this dryer. Found it excellent and on my experience can recommend.

I would rather never style my hair again than use this hair dryer – Trying to configure the settings on the hair dryer using the sliding bars is very annoying and difficult to do. When I actually turned the hair dryer on, I attached the narrower nozzle part, which, instead of ending in a straight edge, was curved, meaning that half the hot air was blowing into my hand and onto my face. I ended up with sweat… Read more

running off my face and a burnt hand. The heat settings themselves are far too hot and, while this works on hair, is not so pleasant when it is being blown into your face and hands. I suppose it does the job, but it makes the job unbearably unpleasant to do. I ended up drying half of my head and then giving up and letting the rest air dry.

Low power setting too powerful – I bought this to replace my 30 year old Breville travel hair dryer when then its low-power setting failed. I really wish I'd tried this in the store as its low setting is ridiculously powerful. I find it too powerful for good styling. My fine hair gets blown right off the brush. My 30 year old Breville did a better job of blow-drying my hair… Read more

straight. I'm left with dry, wavy, curly hair that has to be finished with a flat iron. I doubt there will be any point trying to return it as it was on sale and it's not faulty just cheap rubbish but I will be replacing it with a good lower powered dryer as soon as I can afford to.

First and last – As soon as I tried to use it I was irritated. Trying to slide the buttons to operate it was very difficult, particularly if you have product on your hands and they are a bit slippery. Even without, they are hard to slide on and off and I had to move the dryer away from my hair and use 2 hands. Not much good for ease of use when drying/using a… Read more

brush, etc. This, alone, made up my mind to return it. But when I read the reviews of frizziness, that cemented my decision. (I thought I was just having a bad hair day with extra frizzies!) So after one outing, it is going back for a different brand. My first and last VS purchase.

Oh and I agree about the short cord too and half a diffuser - it looks ridiculous and isn't much use either! light weight and shape of handle. Loop to hang it with sliding buttons and frizzy hair, etc

Frizz country – My hair has never looked so bad! I bought this last year along with the vs Sassoon goddess steam straightener ( my ghd broke ) ..... I thought ah well I'll just buy them for now... big mistake! My hair looks frizzy whenever I use this hair dryer and dry and just horrid. I compare it too back in the day when people started ironing their hair… Read more

with a clothes iron! That's the type of effect this hair dryer and the goddess straightener have on your head!

I'll be buying another ghd and a parlux blow dryer ASAP! Cannot take it anymore, it is embarrassing lol That it says expert and turbo lol Barrel burns your hands, cord too short, have to hold down too many buttons to get hot and cold, just bad!

OK – Disappointed that the dryer is so hot - would be better if the lowest setting was cooler. Also, the Cool Shot button should work and so should the Tubo button. So all in all a bit disappointing. It is OK using the lowest heat setting and the lowest airflow setting but having no Cool Shot is not good. Quick at drying your hair. The back can be… Read more

removed easily to clean the filter. Handle is comfortable. Not too heavy. The Cool Shot button did nothing. Also the Turbo button did nothing.

The lowest heat setting is quite warm. The next setting up is very hot and the top setting is scorching.

Wish I didn't buy this – I bought this hair dryer because it claimed that it was for expert hair styling. It was on special for about $70 at a department store. I have long wavy hair so the ionic and ceramic features were attractive to me, also the fact that it came with a diffuser influenced my decision. It turned out that the diffuser was only half a diffuser, with the… Read more

information enclosed claiming it has one flat side to get closer to your head(??) It's just half a diffuser. The only way to get the full 2000w power is to continuously hold the 'turbo' button down. It is unbelievably awkward and utterly ridiculous to have to hold a button down to get the full power of the hairdryer. The barrel of the hairdryer gets so hot that you cant touch it and I've gotten burnt from it accidentally touching my ears and face during drying. Even after drying, its so hot that you can't put it away straight away. The cool shot is not cool at all! It's hot at best which is useless, and again, has a button that must be awkwardly held down. The nozzle has got holes in it on either side, so if you try to blast your hair close up, the air just escapes out the sides. I'm not sure if the ionic doesn't work or if it's the nozzle is to blame for my frizzy hair. Every time I use this hair dryer I just end up irritated and with bad hair. There are so many things wrong with this hairdryer, I can barely believe that it has been tested for actual use and ease of operation. I will never buy a VS Sassoon product again.
