VOX is horrible – I can't hear my baby cry he was screaming in pain because of a medical condition. I woke up because I heard him screaming and the monitor never went off or alerted me at all. I have had two cameras and they both have had the same issues I've received a replacement but I don't have high hopes. If you want to wake up in the morning with distress baby because you couldn't hear them crying then this is the monitor for you, if not avoid it like the plague
