Vtech RM7756HD - glitchy and weak alert sounds – Great screen size and intuitive menu. Easy to set up and use. However this product has a fundamental flaw. Notification / Alert sound is very soft on the monitor unit. Isn't loud enough to wake you if your child leaves their bedroom. Mobile app Notification only works sometimes. Sometimes notification comes through 15-20 minutes after movement or sound detection. Same result when tried on my wife's phone. Only one parent can sign into app. Contacted support. Seems like it is how it is. At $459 for 2 camera option it's rather expensive for something that can't be relied upon. We have a special needs child who we've found wandering throughout the house in the dark because this camera alarm/alert is too soft to wake us. I don't live near the retailer where I purchased this from, so I asked for vtech for a refund as product is not fit for purpose. Also happy to exchange for a better product. I received no response.
