that the clinic would call when they were done. So I was surprised to get a call roughly 90 minutes later that Archie was ready to be picked up so I began to wonder if my dog had been sedated as the time period appeared to be too short for Archie to have recovered from the sedation. So when I got back I asked the receptionist and without even looking at what had been done to the dog she quickly snapped back that he had been sedated and he was awake and she added sarcastically, "they would not have called me if he wasn't awake and ready to be collected". She obviously was not impressed that I dared to question whether my dog had be sedated. It went bad from there on. As I was having problems paying the bill with my credit card I offered to pay the amount in cash but she (the receptionist) wasnt going to have any of that and got stroppy pointing out that they didn't accept cash. THEN she accused me for being rude because by then I was getting annoyed and was shaking my head because they were counting the cash over and over again in a way as if they had never seen cash before. She (the receptionist) then went to report me to a male assistant and he became involved and not knowing what had transpired gave his unqualified support to the female receptionist and left no doubt that he was blaming me for the incident. Anyway I ended up paying and leaving in disgust only to find later from the invoice they emailed me that they had charged me for a "buster collar" which they never received. I believe the receptionist here was totally out of order and she makes a joke of their statement on their web site that they are friendly, courteous and respectful. In fact far from it and in conclusion, I do not recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to be treated like a valued customer. ps I never got to the bottom of weather my dog was sedated I only know that my bill showed I was charged $173.00 for the sedation.
