Average product

published

We bought it online and it lasted for almost exactly two years, it broke down almost exactly just after the warranty expired by a few weeks.s irrespective of that we had received the correct product two weeks late. The inspection for out of warranty repair cost us extra and the cost of repair of was more than half the original cost. It was somewhat good for us who were new to pool robots but I will be looking at alternative models for sure. But overal it did do its job but was a bit noisy

Do not buy

Whatever you do stay clear of this company. I first purchased it and just outside the warranty it stopped working. Stupidly purchased another one and this time it broke down inside the warranty period. I spoke to Pool and Spa Warehouse and they finally had someone come to collect it to repair it in which they replaced the main power unit with a brand new one which only lasted 4 weeks before it broke down again. I then contacted Pool and Spa Warehouse only for them to tell me that it is now outside of the warranty and Waterco will not cover it. I then had to contact Waterco and explain it to them in which they said they would get back in contact with me in which I am still waiting....would not recommend them at all.

Don’t waste your money

Owned it for nearly 2 years of which it’s been back at the store I purchased it from for more than 13 months of that time

The store always says no parts and refuse to give me a replacement unit or refund so I’m pretty much $1500 out of pocket and looking for another pool cleaner

Has been sent back for repairs 3 times works well for a week or so then just rocks back and forward in one part of the pool so I got one clean line and the rest unclean

A total dud..

published

Purchased this unit with great hopes but less than 6 month after purchase needed reprogramming - just did a back roller dance on the spot.
6months later had it back in the factory for same proble.
Then the impeller blade broke twice in 2 months ( first time cost $300 ) next time another $200. Then the it just stopped working - another $300 for repair then the umbilical broke. ( They wanted to charge me ) but i refused. Last week after being off and out of the water over wintertime i turned it on - back to doing a back shuffle/ front shuffle / roller dance on the spot. Should I bother repairing it?
Indeed it would be a great product if it worked,, but It's a dud..

Crap.

published

We thought this was scared of the deep end when new as it would only clean in circles at the shallow end.
Took it back to dealer who said they are having lots of trouble with these. Got it reprogrammed. Worked for a while now just goes back and forth like a lunatic rocking in their chair. Crap. Crap. Crap.

Another product from Waterco being rubbish, from this ATV device to their in pool lighting, pool scooper, scrubbing brush and the telescope pole, everything from Waterco has broken, and not one person within the company cares!! Spoken to the shop we bought from and they say you'll have to send back yourself. I hate WATERCO products absolute crap.. Don't waste your money

suddendeath and still waiting for an answer

i purchased this machine as recommended by my poolguy.it worked alright to beginwith.i found it a constant battle detangling the cord and the bag hard to clean.we were lucky our pool did not get too dirty as no trees about ,therefore did not have to use it alot.then it died after maybe max 40 to50 runs in the pool.it is now 3 wks in the shop and no answers about what is wrong i think i need to find a better product.not a cheap problem.

Rubbish !!

published

Absolute rubbish , only worked well for 3 months and after than started to fall apart - they also do not honour their warranties and parts are very costly.
Just purchased a new cord and now the unit killed it self !!
Have decided to chuck it in the bin !!

Absolute junk and the spare parts pricing is criminal

published

I just wanted to vent my frustration at the quality of this pool cleaner and the ridiculas cost of spare parts. 2nd repair in 4 months unit is 18 months old now.

The cost of a power cord $370 yes just the power cord, $370 do not buy one they are a con, the pricing of parts should be illegal... I am now buying a "I Cleaner 120" because they list the cost of all there parts on line and they are cheap. Approx one tenth the cost of parts from WARECO for the Admiral

Expensive to repair

Not so kink resistant power cord

published

The working of the machine is ok .As for there claims of kink resistant hose it is absolute rubbish 3 hour cycle results in 30 minutes of frustration to de kink the hose. Complained to supplier rain wise but no resulting phone call from the distributor.I would like to hear if anybody else has had this problem
