rusted after 1 year making it very difficult to attach new heads.
Philips brush has a plastic screw for connection which still works well. Philips brush head has different length bristles so cleans my teeth better than Waterpik. Also Philips toothbrush gives warning beep when it still has 2 cycles left. Philips power may not be as high as Waterpik, but power is not necessary for a good clean. I would recommend Philips electric toothbrushes to everyone, not the Waterpik. Easier to use and cleans better than manual brushing. Very powerful action. Ergonomic grip. Toothbrush head has bristles same length so doesn't reach the grooves. Bad quality - the metal connection rod for the brush head rusted and coating peeled off making it very hard to fit new brush heads on. Doesn't give sound warning when battery low, stops suddenly without warning.
