You get what you pay for – We purchased this tent from Catch of the Day in preparation for a "camping holiday" in our backyard beginning on Good Friday while we have renovations going on inside our house. videos we had some idea on how to go about it. One of the main support poles was broken. The elastic holding it together had snapped so the pole was in pieces. Fortunately as we were in our own backyard we were able to repair the pole and put the tent up. This tent is NOT Canvas!! The stitching is not good quality and the tent pegs are way too small for a tent of this size so again, fortunately we were in our own back yard so we found some better pegs to use. The tent certainly is spacious and if you open up the windows and the door you get a good flow of air through. The tent is warm enough overnight once everyone is inside. It is waterproof to a point. It can handle a shower or even a heavy down pour if there is no wind. Add 30km winds to it and rain and you can kiss the water proofing goodbye. The top layer is water proof so if it is windy the rain can certainly get in underneath the waterproof layer. We have been in the tent for 2 weeks and are, for the most part, happy with it and would suggest it as a good option for a summer/spring camping trip.
