undisclosed accident. Because it was a private sale we have no recourse but to take the individual to court as Western Motors denies that the person we dealt with was employed by them. It doesn't add up !?!

Bought a car in March, paid $70k and nothing but problems and when we took back to them to fix, they said they "fixed" it which was a complete lie, if anything the car was worse, not to mention the condition the car was given back to us in a couple of times (scratches, chips, dirty, sticky, wrong parts on, parts missing, items left in and on the car). They took our car FOUR different times to fix and two of those times they had it for a month plus and they never had the decency to pick up the phone and give a quick update, I had to follow them up the whole time and all they kept saying is "there working on it" whatever that means.... they have no customer or communication skills, they lie, their unprofessional, disrespectful, unfair, unorganised and just horrible to deal with. Also FYI their phone has the number come up when you call them - so sometimes when i called they didn't answer, but as soon as I called off a different phone they would answer. We have had our car now for 5 months (3 of the months they had it at different times fixing) and it's STILL not fixed, however we have given up and will be sorting it ourselves as we never want to deal with this company again! I hope no one buys from this yard ever again and they shut down.
Biggest rip off merchants ever – After spending $12,000 on a car purchased from these [Content Removed], i have had nothing but problem after problem with the car, not there problem apparently! very smug “yes” Every time I tried to speak the salesman spoke over top of me and kept repeating that he couldn’t do anything as the car wasn’t there. I was trying to explain and understand why the car was taken off site when we had an appt booked but he kept cutting me off and not listening, he spoke very aggressively and then even stood up out of his chair to aggressively. The lack of transparency and lack of responsibility was unbelievable The attitude and aggressiveness was horrendous. I ended up walking away and once back at my car they had already updated the ad to sold. I believe this was a blessing in disguise, since learning the google business account is closed and they don’t have a legit profile on Facebook. Even after reading the reviews on this site is so concerning.

to proceed and asked for my deposit back which he said ok. Hours later another person calls and says I can’t get my deposit back and I have to pay them 12% of the vehicle I wanted, to have in mind I didn’t sign the contract for this vehicle nor did I even have the vehicle in my possession ! Also in the two weeks of waiting and not hearing anything I tried to call and I even messaged and asked for my deposit prior me waiting as it was just taking to long only to be ignored. These people are dodgy as lying and unprofessional. How can they think scamming people into a so called deposit to hold a vehicle only still to have the vehicle advertised, No signed docs from my behalf now turn around and say I won’t be getting my money back ! Dodgy and I will be taking this further!!!! This is impeccable !!!! I would not trust this place one bit!!!!
Dodgy car yard – Very dodgy people never buy a car from them. The staff kept on lying to me. Bought a Jeep wrangler. Has a lot of issues, they never fixed and provided a fitness certificate from their own mechanic. I was told that they would provide me with log book service and a user manual book soon. But it never arrived. I end up losing lots of money on the fixes. Their ads are misleading that would say lots of features in a vehicle and they aren’t true. Show details

Terribly dodgy place – Beware of this dodgy joint, was looking to purchase a landcruiser with apparently 96000km for $53000 from there yard, after a vin search on google I found it had been purchased from the auctions with 370 odd thousand km, they had wound back the odometer which is highly illegal, searched a couple more of there vins and found they'd done the same to another hilux they had for sale also..AVOID AT ALL COSTS Show details

were blown out, the windows stopped working, the windscreen wipers, their "touch up " paint methods decided to fade, they will do there best to put Band-Aids on certain problems. Thing's started to fall apart, I did my best to fix everything. Poor cleaning, Engine bay was a mess, fuse's missing. Oh yeah, and no log book either. (partly my fault but this whole process was rushed) Wouldn't recommend this car yard to my worst enemy. Their "mechanics" which I doubt they are, are useless. Save yourself money and a headache.

lie to you then refuse a refund then turn up at your house acting aggressively – Purchased a 2007 Toyota Hilux from Western Motors with 199000 on the clock. truth! Took it to Toyota Mandurah for its 200000 kilometre service and was told by the mechanic that it had outstanding vehicle recalls, diff oil leaked straight out onto their workshp floor when they tried to refill it(diff seal completely gone) as well as numerous other mechanical defects. Most serious problem was that the tailshaft was held on by one bolt. This could have caused a major accident. The vehicle was deemed by Toyota Mandurah to be UNSAFE TO DRIVE. Went back to Western Motors for a refund (speedo was out by about 20 kph as well and the roof leaked from rain the night before-this was supposedly a $20000 car mind you)but they refused to refund the mechanics cost, even though I was legally entitled to one. Placed an ad on Gumtree warning others not to be decieved by this dodgy car yard and then had guys turning up at my house early in the morning yelling my name loudly. Then had cars driving past with occupants yelling things like "youre only going to make it worse for yourself". Am still waiting for a refund for the mechanics report. DO NOT BUY FROM WESTERN MOTORS 184 WELSHPOOL RD, WELSHPOOL. They lie to you, rip you off then behave in a threatening manner if you try to warn others. Do not be fooled by the slick website or the 'customer' testimonials either.
Terrible business, poor communication – We bought a Nissan patrol from them and within two weeks things started to go wrong. Worst service experience! – I have just bought a Toyota Hilux SR5 from Western Motors. settled and after numerous requests to get this done.
They put my vehicle on a train to Brisbane well after 2 weeks after it settled; I understand that getting logistics sorted are hampered by many things - but this was just not good enough and no communication on the process; This also meant that my warranty expired before the vehicle arrived in Brisbane.
When the vehicle arrived the break-warning lights started to come on and I have had one or two moments where the breaks did not react quickly and almost "got stuck". The handbreak does not work properly and the vehicle rolls back when parked at a slight uphill angle.
The vehicle is well over it's 160 000 km service requirement and arrived here without being fully serviced as per the logbook requirements. Noting the issues with the breaks this is a real concern.
The worst part of the experience was when I requested from the Sales person to speak to the Dealer Principal he ignored my requests, stating that Management will deal with it. It turned out that he was the Dealer Principal all along but never told me this!
How utterly disappointing when they just stated they will not do anything to address my concerns.
