'My 93 year old mother had this machine for 2 years and has had no end of trouble using it. This machine leaves lint on everything There is never any lint in the lint filter which does not work at all. The lint sticks to all the washing. at her age. When she bought this on special she asked if it had faults or was it just the last of a good machine. Told just clearing stock. She has contacted the store as well as Westinghouse who said they would have someone get in touch but no call back ever.
I've had this machine for 2 years and with every wash I regret the day I bought it. The agitator is out of balance and wobbles in spin even without clothes, it shakes the whole machine. drain your clean soapy water and start again. Most annoyingly it doesn't collect lint and I mean no lint what so ever. After washing towels for example the lint filter remains empty. The lint is stuck to the drum and all over the towels. If you want a washing machine with easily adjustable controls that cleans and removes lint DO NOT buy this machine. Absolutely no options to control your wash, it's parameters are over automated this is why it has a bad power use rating. It sits and agitates for 3 minutes deciding to put water in and it still half fills with 4 hand towels, picture attached, shows the depth of water on a stick. WESTINGHOUSE...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE – we are trying to do a load of washing, but the water continues to flow out of the drain pipe, I looked at the manual, zero help...so I called Westinghouse/Electrolux, spoke to a female who sounded Philipino...I asked if she could provide a solution, refused to do so unless the solution was in the manual...Only solution was that a technician would need to be sent...ZERO ASSISTANCE...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...$$$$$$ Show details
Choose wisely – Was very disappointed after a year of having it needed to be fixed as it would stop when it would spin this was upsetting. I bought it brand new not second hand! So choose wisely they sure don’t make them like they used to. Do i recommend this product NO Show details
