Looks good from far, but far from good – Bought one of these to go into an existing opening in our kitchen. Due to the existing cutout, we were limited and basically forced to buy this thing. We found that it does not heat uniformly. We had one of these years ago in a rental property and it too had this exact issue. Steer clear. This unit is junk.

Do yourself a favour - don’t waste your money! – I purchased one of these microwaves for our new kitchen which was installed in late 2019. I also went to the added expense of purchasing a stainless steel trim kit as the unit was built in. Within 2 months of installation the unit ceased working and was eventually replaced after Westinghouse initially advised it was the kitchen installer’s problem! In November 2021, the sound mechanism was barely audible so on the 13 December 2021, I contacted the Westinghouse customer service centre where I waited 40 minutes for assistance. The operator advised there was no sound control on the microwave but the problem could be due to a dry socket. He suggested ‘jiggling’ the unit to see if this rectified the issue, not surprisingly it made no difference. The sound no longer works at all and I’m left with a just over 2 year old sub-standard microwave. Won’t be buying anything Westinghouse again!
