Top arm – During the wash top arm where water come from falls off, have replaced and tightened the nut still come off. Also at random control panel lights up when not in use. Would appreciate if mine is an isolated issue. Hardly ever used. Show details

Disappointed – Very disappointed. Purchased august 2021 and has broken 3 months out of our 2 year warranty. Dishwasher flashing f2 when you turn it on and start cycle. Show details

Cheap garbage with insufficient warranty – Had this dishwasher installed as part of a new house build. In fact all the kitchen appliances were Westinghouse. Builders choice. The dishwasher has failed after minimal use conveniently a month after the warranty expired. F9 Diverter Valve failed. The Glass top gas hotplate exploded a month after we moved in andthe Oven 900m oven had to be… Read more

replaced 6 months later due to a fault. I am replacing the crap dishwasher with an LG which we have in our home working fine for 11 years.

Time saving appliance! – Westinghouse is a great brand. I have grown up with this brand and my previous dishwasher was also a Westinghouse which I loved. This dishwasher doesn't quite match my previous one in terms of drying my contents but does a good wash. It is water efficient and power efficient. Show details

Great dishwasher that does what its supposed to do and a little more – As far as dishwashers go, this is great. It does what its supposed to do and that is wash dishes really well. Ive only ever used the the Eco function and it cleans dishes, cups, pots and pans effortlessly. The thing I love the most is the "extra dry" function. Everyone knows that a dishwasher full of plastic always comes out wet. When you live… Read more

with a household that use a large amount of plastic containers, this function is a blessing. Drys plastic perfectly every time. The adjustable top rack works well and is easy to change should you need to lower or raise. My only criticism is that it is a little noisey, Apart from that, its perfect.

Better performing units out there – We purchased as a replacement during a kitchen renovation. The primary purchase decision surrounded its Dark Stainless Steel finish. Has all the functionality of a currently model dishwasher. Where it lets us down (and why we gave it 3 stars) is its poor drying function. After trying every combination of its washing and drying cycles along with… Read more

trying different cleaning and drying agents, we still find ourselves with a tea towel drying off plates and cups when unpacking. At the peak of our frustration, we booked a warranty call to which a friendly service tech came out and gave the unit a good looking over. He deemed the unit in full working order, however understood our frustration suggesting that it was the amount of plastics we where packing in. The top rack design is also flawed as most cups sit level with results in water pooling on top of them also contributing to the amount of water that remains. In contrast, our previous dishwasher (entry level Euro at half the price) cleaned and dried everything threw at it with out issue - note we have not replaced any of our kitchen crockery, cups or glasses. We are writing this off to a poor purchasing decision.

DECEMBER 2022 UPDATE <Product Review "thank you" email prompted this update> So we are on the market for another dishwasher ...Firstly, since my last review, I have observed the only way to achieve consistent results is to 1/2 to 2/3 fill the unit meaning a maximum of 5 plates and 4 bowls in the lower tray and leave a 1/2 cup space width between items on the top shelf. The net result is my household use the unit everyday up from every second day with our previous dishwasher. We have not changed our crookery or glass wear and now rarely put plastics in the unit after the feedback from the Whirlpool tech's visit. The control panel is now loosing its top coat of paint and this is after Whirlpool service came out to inspect our original complaint of poor performance and replaced it under some product recall. We will be returning to our preferred brand after observing our neighbours unit in action who have a similar household setup to ours.

July 2025 update. Since my last update. I purchased a well known NewZealand brand for the same price as the Westinghouse. The performance difference was night and day. Everything washes and drys perfectly as it should. We now find ourselves replacing other appliances and have actively avoided Westinghouse based on our above experience.

Worked 4 or 5 times – Purchased this new less than a month ago as an upgrade to an old but functional dishwasher. In the same spot with same plumbing. The dishwasher worked no issues 4 or 5 times. Now it takes in water, immediately drains the water then stops and flashes f5. We've checked the tap and it's fully open, done a reset and unplugged and tried again. Same result. Have seen a lot of people online with this same issue. Wouldn't recommend at all. Show details

Bad qaulity – Unpacked the dishwasher from new found to have rub marks on top panel so I contacted sales straight away and nothing was done. 2 months in to use the door latch would not latch properly/ failed and the same week it would not operate once closed the light would just flash. Also terrible design with power button on the front as its extremely touchy and the door feels like its about to fall off Avoid this cheap excuse for a dishwasher! Show details

First few months was great but – For the cost of this dishwasher I would have expected more. Initially I had no issues, washed and dried dishes well fabulous and then I had issues. First technician sent out I believe was not sure what he was doing and caused damaged to the door and kick plate. Second technician said there were no issues with the unit. I've been trying to sort… Read more

this out for months with Electrolux. Issues have finally been resolved and I have ordered a different brand. The one/off button is a pain. If you knock it the unit turns on. Very disappointing

Extremely Poor Quality – Bought from Appliances Online. The Dishwasher was faulty from the factory. Very poor quality build, and poorly put together. I would recommend avoiding Westinghouse, and other Electrolux products in the future.  Show details
