We had a late one week later Father’s Day dinner here all I can say is the food and service is excellent highly recommend you come and experience it here Shona is awesome to deal with and issues are sorted straight away, highly recommend the whale and ale
I have seen it all now !!!! just been asked to leave the venue because I hadn't bought a drink straight away ..in my Defence l was waiting for friends to arive then get drinks and lunch ...I left with out fuss ..I will never step foot in there Doors again ....sad you can't enjoy your Sunday after a week's hard work at your local ...
Come in to the whale and ale to meet a couple of friends and watch the ufc , while waiting the bar staff came up and put pressure on us as we did not order a drink yet as we were still waiting for our friends . We were asked to leave as it is apparently pub rules that you can't sit in there without drinking when we clearly told them we were waiting for people first . Very poor treatment as we are locals to the pub which we will no longer be drinking at with our work colleagues .... not fair that staff put pressure on patrons .
Dirty dirty dirty – Needs a pressure clean inside and out! Everything is sticky and dirty! Up your game!
