A dreadfully complicated manual for which you need a Menzies brain but even then.....! – We have had this microwave oven for about 4 weeks now and still don't know how it works due to the most complicated programming control features. It is trial and error. I urge everyone not to buy this model as you will regret it! Nil Stars!

Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $235.

What can I say – I have tried literally every microwave oven on the market, & after another "quality" microwave giving up the ghost after barely 4 years, & against the advise of the shop assistant, I thought I would try a Australian Made Whirlpool.... should have listened. The auto/Easy to use menu is far from being easy to use or understand. The displays are so small you can barely read them, the jet start is ridiculous as it only appears to operate in 30 second increments (which can be a disaster in microwave time), the alarms associated with the timer etc are cringe worthy sounding cheap & nasty. So far after a month we have not managed to have one cooking success. I cant believe after starting life with a National Panasonic Genius II that lasted over 20 years we are back to this build quality. I can hardly wait for this thing to blow up so I can replace it, which Im sure wont be to far into the future. Just on a final note & to be fair, I always purchase "Australian Made" where possible to support the local industry, but after a number of A.M purchases that have been outright rubbish over the past few years I will be looking elsewhere.

Since the review, I have sold this microwave. Its functionality (or lack of) was so annoying that I sold via a local online market place for $100 & 20 months warranty still remaining. Even though I lost out on nearly $200, I was glad to see the back of it.

Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $299.
