Purchased the Whirlpool 9kg/6kg 1400rpm Washer Dryer Combo in late 2023. The dryer has since stopped working, and I’ve been dealing with Whirlpool’s service team for months. They attempted one repair, which failed. I then wrote requesting a refund or replacement and received no response.
I later spoke to customer service by phone and was told a replacement would be provided, but that was over six weeks ago and nothing has happened.
The product failure and lack of follow-through have been extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend to anyone purchasing a Whirlpool appliance.
Follow-up · We eventually received a replacement, but the experience remained very poor. The delivery truck arrived and left the new boxed washing machine at the end of the driveway without bringing it to the house. We had to rely on a kind neighbour to help carry it inside. The faulty washing machine was not removed and was left for us to disconnect and dispose of ourselves. We also had to pay out of pocket for a technician to disconnect the old machine and unpack and install the replacement. After months of delays and poor communication, this final outcome was deeply frustrating. Overall, the handling of this replacement was unacceptable and made an already disappointing situation bitter sweet. Not the level of service I would expect from any company in this day and age.
