Terrible – I would not recommend anyone to purchase a whirlpool product after this incident unless you want to spend half your time on the phone trying to get the faulty product repaired and even when you do speak to someone they are not even in Australia so they dont even understand your complaint! A nice looking machine but thats where it ends Worst thing… Read more

I ever did was to buy this machine....problems with soap dispenser.... manafacturers problem...which causes water to leak internally down the side of the machine and it is now rusting out because of it.

Only purchased in 2009 with what i was told was covered by a 2 year warranty from whirlpool... now whirlpool apparently changed their warranty period sometime in 2009 to a 1 year warranty only...probably because they have produced too many faulty products and it was coting them too much to rectify the issues...this is so deceitful of whirlpool

Have now been told that whirlpool will not pay for any labor to repair machine although the problem is a manafacturers one...and you can forget customer service from whirlpool, they dont even call you back...theyre a total disgrace

Nightmare!!!!! – Machine shredded my lingerie and has done since i bought the thing. now it will stop half way through washing cycle with a red symbol in the corner, (which whirlpool won't tell me what it is unless i pay $100 to bring a service guy out just to tell me what it means.) so i have too reset/drain 3 times(because it still stops) before all the waters… Read more

out of it and the clothes come out sopping. Worst machine I've ever had!!!! None comes to mind Its a front loader, shreds clothes, locks door so can't add or take anything from it and takes 2 hrs to wash.

Terrible – Is only a few months old, It broke down, the service agent came and fixed it with a new control board. The next day it broke down again. It was taken away by the service agent, after waiting for what seemed ages whirlpool said we would recieve a new machine.I said I would rather get a refund.(consumer law states that is my right)They said it was… Read more

up to them if I get a refund a repair or replacement. I also asked to be re embursed for what it cost me to use the laundramat. They initially said no, but later offered me about a quarter of what it actually cost me They said they would replace the machine if I signed a disclamer, with one condition being that I would make no further claim (what it cost me at the laundramat)against Whirlpool. I said no. I now rent a washing machine and will not give in till I get a refund and rembursement. Small claims court here I come. Keeps repairmen employed. Machine dosn't work, whirlpools customer service is disgraceful

Excellent – This is a good machine it's not a Miele, Asko or Bosch but for the price it's very good. The digital screen keeps you informed as to what's going on with your wash. It cleans clothes really well even on the daily load everything is lint free. If you have really really dirty clothes set on a longer cycle and let the machine do the work for you… Read more

not a real need to soak clothes for hours before hand some of the cycles can go up to 2 hours so they tumble and bash out stains. I really only use the daily load as clothes are not that dirty. 6kg Daily Load from 40C-60C in an hour. Simple quiet operation.

Excellent – Such a large machine at a very good price. Looks impressive and washes the clothes really well. We had a Chinese-made Whirlpool previously that was junk (see WF655 reviews). Don't be fooled - same label, completely different experience with this machine. It's Italian made and seems to have that sort of build quality. Very nice looking futuristic… Read more

appearance with digital readouts etc. The large capacity is excellent for our large family. Can be programmed to do more than the set functions. Sometimes you need to hit the Start button twice after loading the machine.

Excellent – I have never been excited about washing before this machine. I can't help but to tell everyone how much I love it. I am guessing person who left a message above might be a little odd to say the least... I had some simple question on how to use it and found that Whirlpool was very good to me. I would recommend this to all family who want to do… Read more

their washing in a quick time. I also like that it takes all of my curtins and doonas, which my old 6.5kg washer didn't take. love it!! Best machine I have ever had. It really fast and does a great job. Havn't found anything I don't like about it.

Good – I love the machine dispite the cons. I thoroughly researched top and front loaders before making my purchase and I am extremely happy with the choice I made. I would never go back to a top loader unless they made them as economical as the front loaders and also matching there wash results. I was told by Whirlpol that the machine would not fit a… Read more

queen size doona in, therefore wouldn't wash it properly but I have had very pleasing results on mine. Cotton wash takes about 2 1/4hrs but have never used it as the daily wash, which takes only an hour does a more than adequate job, even on my sons dirty work clothes. The quick wash, which takes 30 mins, is excellent for lightly soiled clothes. I would have given it a 5 star rating if you could do a cold wash. Its a matter of getting used to making sure you have no extra clothes to add. Favourite option on all programs. I was amazed at how little water it uses, less than a quarter of what my 7.5kg Fisher & Paykel top loader used, as well as using 1/2 the soap powder (even with the cheaper brands), with far more superior wash results. Lint problems are a thing of the past, yay! It has plenty of washing options. No cold wash(20 degrees is the coolest). Can't add cloths or change the program once the machine has started unless you drain the water.

Good – i put forward a review about water spilling over the detergent drawer a couple of days ago but then found that you have to take out the 2 pins in the back which solves this problem, no it's great. Love it
