Whirlpool Microwaves Leak Radiation Badly – A friend of ours likes Whirlpool, but I test microwaves for a living and they are the most common brand to fail our leakage tests, they fail by a great margin, the standard is less than 5 milliWatts of radiation at 50 mm, most Whirlpools hit 10 on a good day and often reach 15, you can start to cook things at 12. Mind you if you return it to them… Read more

and request a refund under consumer law they want you to sign a waiver so you can't sue them in future if you get ill, this company is very devious and cannot be trusted by any consumer, their fridges decompose we have two with broken plastic bits all over the pace which no longer can be replaced, there dishwashers motors seize and their microwaves leak radiation, whoever designs this stuff should be put in Jail Crisper Idea, otherwise its a piece of manure Radiation Leakage and Appauling Customer Service

Why did I bother – This heap of junk lasted just 18 months or 6 months past the warranty period. Most Whirlpool stuff is now offered with 24 months warranty. But as advised by Whirlpool this week....not this item! It was noisy and rattled from day one. I was in a hurry and foolishly trusted the brand name of Whirlpool. What a waste of $150. I will not be buying any more Whirlpool junk again. Noisy, poor quality build

Value for money – Does alright for daily routine stuff. All basic features are simple for a layman to understand I bought it for less than 60$ it has run for 4 years without a hitch. I am not a fan of Whirlpool but this one is not bad.. What do you expext for 60 dollars, a Ferrari? Express Function for quick start Colour

Broke in 6 months – Very complicated to use. Broke down in 6 months, but it was still under warranty so I got my $80 back. Repair guy said to get your money back rather than replace it because it was such a bad model. Inexpensive It broke too soon.

Be Careful – I got a whirlpool microwave last November and a few days later it just stopped working. About a month the electricity in our town went out for a few moments then when it came back on the microwave started to make a noise and the kitchen was filled with smoke. We were not actually cooking at the time so very surprised that this happened. This is… Read more

2 faulty Whirlpool microwaves in the space of 9 months. We never used the warranty to get a new one prefering to change brands for safety reasons. The size and price 2 broke with the second almost causing a house fire.
